Tenacity Wrestling - Show 11: Ropes of Wrath July 06th, 2024
SEGMENT: ‘WORTH IT’
INT: THE VENUE - BACKSTAGE Backstage we find the man of the hour, Matt Stone, talking to a small gathering of people.
MATT STONE: So here’s the deal, this is my big night and it has to be perfect! I need banners hanging from every hallway, I need tables set up everywhere filled with bowls of red M&Ms and I need everyone to be on the lookout for a crazy curly haired woman holding a chair. You guys have all that?
Matt looks from one to the other to the other and gets nothing but blank expressions on their faces
MATT STONE: Perfect, now go forth and set everything up. Fly my pretties, fly!
The group sort of just shuffle off in different directions.
CUT TO: MATT STONE TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
MATT STONE: Good help is so hard to find.

'MATCH #1' 'STARTING OFF’ FAIZAH MARSHALL Vs KENDRICK KROSS
INT: THE VENUE - THE RING
Faizah squares off against Kendrick Kross who tells Faizah Marshall she’ll be his third and final win, and next time they face off he’ll be champion. Faiz slaps him in the mouth, ducked the punch he shot back with and took Kross down with a dropkick. She kipped back up and caught him with a knee before leading the irish whip - sending Kross into the ropes but he caught her mid-section kick. She hopped away after a stinging two kicks and allowed Kross to slam her into the mat with a vengeful mat head slam.
After trash talking Faiz, Kendrick disrespectfully dragged her by the hair to the apron where he looked to land a jumping stomp - but Faizah pulled herself back under the rope and Kendrick landed on the outside. Faiz looked to get an outside dive in but Kross slid back inside, headstand flipped onto his feet and took Marshall down with a clothesline. He posed and taunted after the move but the fans started rallying behind Marshall so Kross landed a big elbow drop to the middle of the back
CUT TO: KENDRICK KROSS TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
KENDRICK KROSS: I’m the guy in Tenacity Wrestling who’s brought Victoria to a near loss when the title is on the line. These fans shouldn’t chant for Faiz, they should be chanting for their future champion, Kendrick Kross.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Marshall tried to get back with some forearms while Kendrick grabbed her to try pull her up, but the back kick was parried by Kross, followed by a chop block that had Faizah forcefully backflip onto her front. Kross would then wrap her leg around the steel ring post as fans recoiled from it. Kross went to do it again, but Faizah was able to push him off. Kross slid back in, another headstand kip up but this time Faizah caught Kendrick with a savate into a DDT. The crowd start to build behind Marshall as she strung together a running bulldog, an elbow drop after a springboard kick, and her springboard double foot stomp - hoping to put Kendrick away but he kicked out.
CUT TO: FAIZAH MARSHALL TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
FAIZAH MARSHALL: Because of that business earlier with the ring post, I didn’t get enough in the double foot stomp to put him away there and then like I have done in the past.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Faizah appeared to get cut off completely with a backbreaker - submission as Kendrick continued to press Marshall down over his knee. Faiz literally kicked out of the hold and Kross can be seen holding his ear, appearing to try and pop it by how he opened his jaw. Faizah came off the ring ropes with a massive right hand to knock Kendrick down to the mat and believed she could end it with the BAE ALERT Moonsault - EMPTY SWIMMING POOL FOR FAIZAH. Kendrick rolled onto his feet for TRAMP STAMP! Faizah JUST got her head out! She tried to get up but Kendrick stamped down trapping her hair under his foot. The official counted but he delivered a face wash boot to Marshall - earning boos and a warning.
Kross put the BAE on the top rope and after getting on the bottom rope, he isolated her on the right so he could pummel her kidney area with elbows until the official made him back off. Boscoe reminded Ken he would disqualify him if he laid hands. The discussion did nothing as Kendrick hit a flying shoulder to keep Faizah in place - for what looked like a sidewalk slam off the top rope - BUT FAIZAH rolled onto her feet - DOUBLE FOOT STOMP - SPRINGBOARD DOUBLE FOOT STOMP - BAE Alert by Faizah who hoped for the win here and the relief she had when Boscoe slapped the mat for the third time.
CUT TO: FAIZAH MARSHALL TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
FAIZAH MARSHALL: Last show I was talking to Vic and Matt, this show - Vic & Scotty - BAE Ready because I’m 1 win away from challenging - No - Ripping that title away from either of you.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING
In the ring, Aubrey Williams took to the mic to announce the winner.
AUBREY WILLIAMS: Ladies and Gentlemen your winner of this match - Faizah Marshall!f
Faizah Marshall made the title gesture to the crowd on the second rope before she is pushed off by a sore loser named Kendrick Kross - luckily Faizah was able to stick her landing with a slight limp but she had no further business with Kendrick - though Kross stood by his point he’d be champion before her..
CUT TO: VICTORIA SALINAS TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
VICTORIA SALINAS: I see you, Marshall. Don’t worry - I see you.
(Scene End) Winner: Faizah Marshall via Pinfall - BAE Alert (Top Rope Moonsault) Match Time: 12:07
SEGMENT: ‘BAD TO THE MATT STONE’
INT: THE VENUE - THE RING Matt Stone’s music ends as the former contender stood in the ring dressed to the nines. The Canadian Born ShutMeUp hashtag innovator had a microphone in hand and a still on the titantron of Rayven Hardy.
MATT STONE: Let’s cut to the chase. Rayven Hardy - don’t even cheer for her, No - Hardy got involved in my match and it’s SOLELY, I’ll say it again slowly for our champion - SOLELY the reason I don’t have the Tenacity Grand Championship.
Matt looks from one to the other to the other and gets nothing but blank expressions on their faces
MATT STONE: Unlike Hardy - I was in the inaugural title match for that title. To put this into a term one of our bosses will love - Hi, Rina - but this title is becoming like a Golden Snitch that’s too damn tricky to grab. Have I given up though, Miami?
There’s an overwhelming “Yes” with some “Please Do” and some lesser “No”’s chanted.
MATT STONE: Wrong - I have not. I’ve decided that I’m going to do something Rayven Hardy couldn’t and I put myself in the Grand Wrestling Arts tournament - I’ve fought in several matches in one night before for this very company and I’ll do it once again on July 20th.
MATT STONE: So Darcy, Logan, Kace, Mimi’s Boyfriend, Kendrick, New Girl who Millie hangs out with, and that one I just ain’t gonna mention in this list - none of you will be earning the grand prize, none of you.
MATT STONE: And Rayven? –-
.::MUSIC CUE::. “Fly” by Nicki Minaj
Out comes Rayven Hardy dressed to compete in her yellow and red gear, very summer styled. She struck a pose with her microphone before the music died down.
RAYVEN HARDY: Speak of the Angel, and count your lucky stars she’ll appear, Matt. Yes, I righted a wrong from Tenacity past. In Tenacity’s present I’m the talent who will become a contender after tonight while you’re back to where you deserve. I don’t know what else we need to say since the next time I believe we’ll stand across from each other you’ll be a contender - yet again - and I’ll be the Tenacity Wrestling Grand Champion.
RAYVEN HARDY: Sooo - why do you have my name on your thin, chapped lips tonight, Matt?
MATT STONE: Because what you did wasn’t right.
RAYVEN HARDY: Was it right when you just stole my debut match from me? Literally jumping ahead of everyone guy and girl in the back with a cheap little tactic that SOLELY, I’ll say it again slowly so you can-
MATT STONE: Don’t do that - Hardy, Doll, you aren’t the victim here. I’m the victim of your weird obsession with me. It’s me who stands out here without a championship. But look at me as a shining example, Ray Ray. I’m in a tournament after what happened. You can’t shake Matt Stone from the title picture. Not you, not Salinas, nobody.
RAYVEN HARDY: In this hypothetical dream world where you win that tournament - and then challenge me - I’ll be the girl who’ll shatter your dreams of being champion BECAUSE I will be the Grand Champion. Like it, don’t? I don’t care. Who keeps Matt Stone out the title picture - I do, I do.
Stone looked visibly annoyed down at Rayven who cheerfully patted herself on the back for that remark.

CUT TO: MATT STONE TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
MATT STONE (ANGRILY): Rayven
With a “drat” snap of his hand motion to follow, before shaking his head looking off to the ground.
(Scene End) SEGMENT: ‘COMPLETE EACH OTHER’S SENTENCES’
INT: THE VENUE - BACKSTAGE Jessica Carter is seen in the locker room dressed in a custom made England jersey with her name on the back. The Interviewer/Wrestler jumped out her seat as she celebrated the final penalty which put her team in the semi-finals
JESSICA CARTER: Close, close call Boys - BUT - It’s COMING OH- Hi Marina
Jessica saw Marina walking out in her ring gear, blue and gold for this evening with a fancy gift from her partner.
MARINA MARSTON: Hey, Jess. How’d it turn out for you?
JESSICA CARTER: We won - which leads me to our match.
MARINA MARSTON: Actually - this time I have a very good feeling I’ll be winning this one. You may have got the best of me back when I first started here but
JESSICA CARTER: Marina. Marina. I agree with that second part. I did get the best of you. I also have fought for the title - but tonight I need to get back on the scoreboard. So
MARINA MARSTON: So after tonight you’ll probably start that idea - tonight’s already…well it’s my night. I mean even my guy invested in making sure I look absolutely fabu-
JESSICA CARTER: -lous, you do for sure. Stunning. It’s going to look great on you after I drop you with a little Veneno though
MARINA MARSTON: Though it’ll still be me walking out the winner. See you out there, Jess.
As Marina gave Jess a friendly wave with some competitive undertones in her last look toward her opponent.
(Scene End)
'MATCH #2' 'THE REMATCH FROM SIX’ JESSICA CARTER Vs MARINA MARSTON
INT: THE VENUE - THE RING After the ring bell a friendly handshake gets offered by Marina. Jess slaps it away for drama, hugging Marina instead to put an end to any doubt. The pair then begin with an exchange of lock ups ending with Marina getting in a russian leg sweep and stretching the arm. Jess managed to get to her knees, throw Marina over and catch Marina with a downward elbow across the neck before she could get up. After a mid-section knee lift Marina got readied for a DDT but Marston turned it into a roll-up - scoring an early two.
Marina landed a quick series of kicks to Jess’ leg before an arm drag created enough distance for Marina to land a sitout facebuster - yet again Jess kicked out but Marina remained in the driving seat. Marston got a flying crossbody on Jess for another two, a dropkick put Carter outside but the suicide dive Marina went for got caught by Jess and an exploder suplex left Marina really feeling her back.
CUT TO: CLEMENTINE SMITH TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
CLEMENTINE SMITH: I didn’t know Jess was capable of that!
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Carter looked to end the match with Ass Kisser but Marina caught Jess in mid-air with a waistlock and used her opponent’s own momentum to deliver a very high angle german with a bridge. One - two and Jess manages to burst out with a half second to spare. Jess clutched her neck getting up, Marina her back and both girls went for a front kick, catching the other’s shoulder. Marina tried a superkick but Jess ducked - pele kick, caught by Marina who swung Jess around to hang her up on the ropes. Abdomen kick set Jess up for Marina to rebound off the ring ropes and a running rolling school girl caught Jess down for one - two - and surprisingly the three count!
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING
In the ring, Aubrey Williams took to the mic to announce the winner.
AUBREY WILLIAMS: Ladies and Gentlemen, your winner of this match… Marina Marston! Jessica was in absolute shock while Marina pointed at her to tell her she got her this time. Marina helped her friend up and like a true sport Jess raised Marina’s hand. Marina then looked ahead to the camera blowing a kiss to the fans, and then once to the folks at home, before she made her way backstage.
Winner: Marina Marston via Pinfall - Schoolgirl Roll Up Match Time: 09:56 (Scene End)
SEGMENT: ‘MY LOCATION, MY SHOT’
EXT: THE VENUE - ROOFTOP A drone shot captures Danielle Page using her downtime in Tenacity to get some content for the gram. She has two photographers shooting her with a sunset behind her, lighting staff doing their best to reflect the lights where directed not by any director but by Danielle herself.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - ROOFTOP Coming through the rooftop door is none other than Tenacity Wrestling ring announcer Aubrey Williams who approaches the team.
AUBREY WILLIAMS: Hi. I don’t mean to interrupt. I was just hoping could I borrow the team to do a couple of pictures?
DANIELLE PAGE: CUT!
DANIELLE PAGE: What were you saying to my expensive dollars by the second staff?
AUBREY WILLIAMS: I was hoping to get a couple of professional pictures done.
Aubrey asked with a clear, well-mannered tone. Danielle initially matched her kind tone.
DANIELLE PAGE: So - this whole photoshoot is because me, Danielle Page not Aubrey Williams - you, I am going to become a champion this summer. A Grand Champion, so I’ve reserved this team, this location, so all our fans can buy these premium pictures signed when I win the title.
However she quickly switched to a more antagonistic demeanor.
DANIELLE PAGE: Just because you ask “‘nicely’” doesn’t mean I have to sacrifice my shots for someone who’s been out of the business too long.
AUBREY WILLIAMS: You know I’ve held championships before.
DANIELLE PAGE: I do. But the only championships you’ll hold now are ones you buy in merchandising. Now off you go back to ringside where you can practice announcing me as the winner in tonight’s match, and get some prep in for announcing me as the new Grand Champion, ‘Kay?
Daniellie made a little gesture with her hand for Aubrey to clear the set. Williams chose to leave, maybe find another location which left Danielle requesting a touch up before they lose the sunset altogether.

'MATCH #3' 'WALK THE TALK’ DANIELLE PAGE Vs MATT STONE
INT: THE VENUE - THE RING Matt Stone and Danielle Page squared off in the center of the ring, the crowd buzzing with anticipation. The bell rang, and Matt immediately tried to assert his dominance with a confident smirk, circling Danielle with his hands raised. Danielle, undeterred, matched his pace, her eyes locked on his every move. They locked up, and Matt used his size advantage to push Danielle into the corner, but Danielle countered with a swift knee to Matt's midsection, followed by a quick arm drag that sent him sprawling.
CUT TO: RAYVEN HARDY TALKING HEAD - RINGSIDE
RAYVEN HARDY: What I just saw from Victoria - respect girl - great move but also, noted. Scouted. Not gonna get me.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Danielle capitalized on her momentum, delivering a series of sharp kicks to Matt's legs and midsection. She attempted a spinning heel kick, but Matt ducked, grabbing her in a waistlock and executing a snap German suplex. Danielle hit the mat hard, but Matt didn't let up, pulling her up and hitting a stalling piledriver, aptly named "Piledriving Miss. Daisy." Matt went for the cover, but Danielle kicked out at two, showing her resilience. Matt looked frustrated but quickly transitioned into a side headlock, attempting to wear Danielle down. Danielle fought back, elbowing Matt's ribs until he released his grip. She then executed a beautiful tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, dropping Matt to the mat. Danielle went for a quick cover, but Matt kicked out at two. CUT TO: RAYVEN HARDY TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
RAYVEN HARDY: Come on, Danielle. Deny, Deny, Deny, Matt Stone. One Two Three..
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Danielle maintained her offensive, hitting Matt with a superkick that she called the "Princess Kick," sending him into the ropes. Matt rebounded with a running STO, catching Danielle off guard. He taunted the crowd, kissing his fist before dropping a standing fist drop on Danielle's forehead. He went for another cover, but Danielle once again kicked out at two. Frustrated, Matt signaled for his finisher, the C-c-c-c-combo Breaker. As he moved to set it up, Danielle countered with a spike DDT. She climbed the turnbuckle, aiming for a high-risk maneuver, but Matt got to his feet and caught her, tossing her to the mat with a C-c-c-combo breaker. He went for the pin, but the referee Boscoe Clark was knocked down in the commotion. CUT TO: SCOTTY LATIMER TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
Scotty Latimer sighed, sat forward in his chair and slapped his hand once, twice, three times.
SCOTTY LATIMER: There you go.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING. (Back to the Action) With referee Boscoe Clark down, chaos ensued. Danielle, seizing the opportunity, delivered a low blow to Matt, unseen by the new referee Orville Fulton who came down to the ring but turned his back to get his right arm in the referee shirt. She quickly hit her finishing move, the "Diamonds are Forever" reverse neckbreaker. Orville Fulton counted the pinfall as the crowd erupted in boos and cheers. In the ring, Aubrey Williams took to the mic to announce the winner. AUBREY WILLIAMS: Ladies and Gentlemen your winner of this match - Danielle Page.
Danielle proceeded to snatch the microphone from Aubrey Williams and was considerably more vocal.
AUBREY WILLIAMS: Ladies and Gentlemen your winner of this match - and NEW Grand Champion Contender. The Hottest Woman on the roster, that’s including you too, Williams. The Diamond Princess Danielle Page!
Danielle looked to hand the microphone back to Aubrey Williams but dropped it, with a mean girl smile. She left the ringside area to head backstage to celebrate with referee Orville following behind her.
Winner: Danielle Page via Pinfall - Diamonds are Forever (Reverse Neckbreaker) Match Time: 11:45 (Scene End)
'MATCH #4' 'WALK THE TALK’ RAYVEN HARDY Vs NOAH LEIFFSON
INT: THE VENUE - THE RING The bell rings, and Noah Leifssen and Rayven Hardy circle each other cautiously. Noah, towering at 6'7", looks down at Rayven with a smirk, while Rayven, undeterred by the size difference, remains focused and ready to capitalize on any opening. Noah lunges first, attempting to grab Rayven, but she ducks under his arms and delivers a quick series of kicks to his legs, trying to chop the giant down. Noah staggers but quickly regains his balance. He charges again, and this time, Rayven leaps into the air, hitting a high dropkick to Noah's chest, sending him stumbling back. CUT TO: MATT STONE TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM
MATT STONE: The worst, the single worst dropkick ever performed was right there by “Rayven Hardly Can Deliver a Dropkick”.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Rayven stays on the offensive, using her speed to avoid Noah's powerful grabs. She bounces off the ropes and lands a spinning heel kick, followed by a quick hurricanrana that takes Noah to the mat. She goes for a quick cover, but Noah powers out at one, sending Rayven flying off him. Noah, now more cautious, gets to his feet and catches Rayven mid-air as she attempts a crossbody. He slams her to the mat with a thunderous pop-up Samoan drop. Noah covers Rayven, but she kicks out at two. He pulls her up and whips her into the corner, following up with a running knee lift that leaves Rayven dazed. CUT TO: MATT STONE TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM
Slapping his own knee with a belly laugh was Matt Stone
MATT STONE: I hope that knee made Rayven Hardy forget I’m coming for her, so it’s a surprise.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Noah looks to end things with his Leifssen Chokeout (chokeslam). He lifts Rayven high into the air, but she slips out of his grip and lands behind him, quickly delivering a dropkick to the back of his knee. Noah drops to one knee, and Rayven hits a running bulldog, driving his head into the mat. Rayven wastes no time and climbs the turnbuckle, signaling for her finisher. The crowd is on their feet as she launches herself into the air, hitting a perfect Skittle Star Press (shooting star press) on Noah. She hooks the leg, and the referee counts. CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING
In the ring, Aubrey Williams took to the mic to announce the winner.
AUBREY WILLIAMS: Ladies and Gentlemen, your winner of this match…Rayven Hardy! Rayven's music hits as she celebrates her hard-fought victory. Noah, slowly getting to his feet, nods in respect to Rayven. She extends a hand, and he accepts, showing good sportsmanship as the crowd roars in approval.
Winner: Rayven Hardy Skittle Star Press (Shooting Star Press) Match Time: 14:31 (Scene End) SEGMENT: ‘TITLE TIME’
INT: THE VENUE - BACKSTAGE A camera crew catches up with KIDD DUDLEY moments before he’s about to go out. Kidd is mid-thought and delivers what’s on his mind right now.
KIDD DUDLEY: Look. Last time I was in the ring here, things didn’t go the way I’d have liked ‘em to go. I went out there to test my skill against the Diamond Princess, Queen, Khalessi; whichever moniker she’s running with. I wanted to see who could throw down the best between the ropes meanwhile my opponent decided to use a foreign object to ensure she got closer to the title picture.
I’m not gonna sit here and claim I was the better wrestler, facts are the facts; I was the wrestler who didn’t need any weapon. I’ll leave it to the fans because I’ve now got to face Shane Sweeney tonight. I need my head screwed on tight because he’s liable to kick it off otherwise. While he was watching my match, I was watching his.
KIDD DUDLEY: I’ve spent days in the facility working for this one. I’ve sacrificed quality time with the family for this one because it’s the last win I need to get into the Grand Championship picture. Victoria’s knocked out her line of challengers bar one. There’s a good chance she’ll still be champion when the lights dim and the show’s over. There’s a good chance Latimer could knock her off the mountain; either way it means it’ll be a true test for me. Equally, though, it’s a better life for my family when I win that Grand Title.
Right now, Shane Sweeney is standing in my way. A loss here puts him ahead, and quite a few people ahead of me. I’m a nice guy but I don’t have THAT much patience. Tonight it’s about moving up the ladder here. I let Danielle kendo stick her way ahead of me last time, this time I’m going up no matter what. No matter what Sweens is going to bring -
It won’t be enough. It’s title time for your boy, time to go make it happen.
(Scene End)
'MATCH #5' 'SWEET DREAMS ARE MADE OF THIS’ KIDD DUDLEY Vs SHANE SWEENEY
INT: THE VENUE - THE RING
Kidd Dudley and Shane Sweeney stare down; Sweeney instigated the match with a shove then dared Kidd to try it back. Dudley approached but didn’t shove the positioned Shane, slid through the legs with a legmare that tripped Shane and tried to get in a submission; Sweeney quickly got to the ropes and Kidd backed off. The whole audience chanted with him about breaking on one. Sweeney took a more aggressive offense, locking up with Kidd and backing him into the corner. Sweeney held the lock in until a count of four before breaking; reminding Kidd and the audience he breaks on four. Kidd shoved Shane there and then. Sweeney rolled over and then caught an on-coming knee. A deadlift german suplex put Shane in the corner but he caught the oncoming Dudley with a spinebuster.
Sweeney connected with a spinning neckbreaker, slingshot suplex, and a reverse DDT but none could put away Kidd. Sweeney got strategic, connecting with several forearms to the head and chest. Another slingshot suplex set up Sweeney for a running knee but he missed his seated opponent. Kidd laid back, then kipped up and Sweeney countered with a Reverse DDT - NO! Handstand by Dudz and straight into the Mighty Morphin Armbar! Sweeney’s face told the whole story, and his thrashing added another layer. Still Double S got himself to the ring ropes and Kidd broke on one. The fans reminding Shane seemed to grate on him.
CUT TO: RAYVEN HARDY TALKING HEAD - RINGSIDE
RAYVEN HARDY: What I just saw from Victoria - respect girl - great move but also, noted. Scouted. Not gonna get me.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Shane came back with an eye poke, and looked to finish things with a DVD he called Envy Driver. Kidd had it scouted and got free but swung wildly and missed Shane. Sweeney struck back with a big heel kick, before adding a double stomp. Sweeney decided to call the fans to focus on him as he went to the high rent district. A sea of Phones as Shane performed a huge moonsault on Kidd Dudley, followed by a single finger pin as Shane posed on his side. Dudley kicked out and Shane retaliated with a few driven knees to the back. Shane decided to hit a less show-off more high speed with the split legged moonsault into two awaiting knees. Kidd followed up with a boot while supine, got himself up but sat right back down when Shane struck back with a jumping heel kick. Shane rebounded out of the corner and collided with double knees to Shane in the corner; Envy Driver…? Kidd elbowed his way and landed on the apron. He hit Shane with a forearm and stepped through the ropes, only for Shane to hit a rope hung variation of the swinging neckbreaker!
CUT TO: MARINA MARTSON TALKING HEAD - RINGSIDE.
MARINA MARSTON: No. That - That was bad, Guys. Not cool, Shane.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Shane almost started pulling hair when Kidd got a foot on the rope and fans started chanted “He Broke on Two”. Shane took it out on Kidd, after he pushed him under the ropes, Kidd’s back ate the barricade. A few ringside punches to the head and Shane was ready to return Dudley back into the ring. A third slingshot suplex was on the menu, but Dudley kicked off the ropes to land behind Shane, hooked both arms and pulled Sweeney down into a pin. Sweeney struggled at one, thrashed at two but got a shoulder up before three. As he got back up, Kidd caught his straight kick, knee to the elbow and a chop block to down him. A few stomps to the knee let Kidd Dudley set up Mendoza Lock but Shane grabbed the ropes before the dragon sleeper element could be locked in. Kidd, again broke on one, as Sweeney got reminded by the fans. He told them to shut up and only cheer for him, but walked into a back body drop.
Sweeney gets hit with a couple chops while on his knees, one final chop knocked Sweeney back, and Kidd Dudley paid the cocky pin back with a foot on Sweeney. Sweeney’s core strength was on show, given how his legs were, and pulled himself up. Kidd pushed him back down with a firmer push and Sweeney once again pushed back up. Kidd pushed him back down again and properly covered, this time Sweeney kicked out by throwing Kidd off. Sweeney took longer to get up and got caught with a butterfly suplex. In the corner he took a running back elbow and Kidd Dudley tried to end things with an inverted headlock backbreaker comboed right into his Slytherin Clutch!
CUT TO: FAIZAH MARSHALL TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
FAIZAH MARSHALL: I’m gonna be honest, I think this is the end of the champ’s reign. Shame, I thought once I picked up that last win - I’d be best in Tenacity, BAE, Best at Everything including snatching that title away from Salinas.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Sweeney didn’t let him lock it in. Shane wrestled out of it, despite the back pain, and connected with a straight jacket neckbreaker - NO! Kidd willingly fell to the mat, hooked his legs under Sweeney’s shoulder and flung Sweeney into the ring post! Kidd Dudley popped back up as Sweeney turned back around clutching his shoulder, making him easy pickings for a Slytherin Clutch!
Though he didn’t directly tap out, Shane Sweeney faded out. Three drops of the arm and referee Boscoe called for the bell.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING
In the ring, Aubrey Williams took to the mic to announce the winner.
AUBREY WILLIAMS: Ladies and Gentlemen your winner of this match….Kidd Dudley!
With his third win, Kidd Dudley raises his arms up, looking forward to becoming
CUT TO: SCOTTY LATIMER TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
SCOTTY LATIMER: Great work, Kidd. Everyone’s done - my turn
Latimer got up from the chair and headed out the room.
(Scene End) Winner: Kidd Dudley via Pinfall - Slytherin Clutch (Cobra Clutcht) Match Time: 14:41
(Show End)
'MATCH #6' 'GRAND FIGHT NIGHT’ VICTORIA SALINAS Vs SCOTTY LATIMER
INT: THE VENUE - THE RING
The contest starts off with Danielle Page, Kidd Dudley and Rayven Hardy getting themselves a close look at this one. Having their next opponents surround them had little to no impact as Latimer and Salinas fought in a respectful brawling fashion - riling the other up in the opening contest. Latimer took the champion down with a big running boot to Salinas’ abdomen - forcing the champion to senton. He quickly took to landing several punches on the champion to force her out the ring. The champion came face to face with Danielle Page who distracted the champion with calls of cowardice. The upclose critic allowed Scotty to throw caution to the wind and senton on Salinas.
Victoria got dropped on her back on the ring’s edge before Scotty threw the champion into Danielle Page. Latimer got the champion back into the ring, and looked to go for a top rope move. Salinas luckily saw Scotty and avoided his lariat completely. Latimer rolled through and Salinas turned him inside out with a springboard kick to the head. Vic scored the pinfall but got pushed off at two.
CUT TO: RAYVEN HARDY TALKING HEAD - RINGSIDE
RAYVEN HARDY: What I just saw from Victoria - respect girl - great move but also, noted. Scouted. Not gonna get me.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Scotty took a couple of forearm shots to the lower back before Salinas put Scotty on the top rope. She appeared to be going for a super back suplex but Latimer grappled her and turned the tables completely with a Kryptonite Krunch! The whole audience got to their feet as they all believed the title changed hands, with a big pop for the champion for kicking out. Scotty couldn’t believe she kicked out so he changed his strategy. He began working over Victoria’s back, sending her into the corner as hard as he could. The champion escaped a backbreaker with vicious elbows and went for a DDT only to be ran into the corner by Scotty, bridging fisherman’s suplex to follow and still the champion kicked out.
Latimer would knock the champion down with overhead clubs to the back, each dropping the lighter competitor. Scotty lost his offensive advantage when Salinas was whipped into the ropes and the back body drop was countered by Salinas turning it into a front flip neckbreaker. The champion had to use the ropes to get back up, she elbowed the champion away and hit a moonsault off the second rope, caught Latimer with an inverted DDT, before digging deep and landed a busaiku knee! She crawled over to the champion to make the cover but Latimer got the whole right shoulder up in the nick of time.
Salinas instead went for the yakuza kick, in the hope to set up a finish. However, Latimer parried with a superkick! Stunned, he pulled the champion in for a BRAINBUSTER! Latimer, still dizzy from a knee to the skull, crawled to Salinas whom had rolled out of the ring. In front of Rayven Hardy, Scotty dragged the champion up. Before Salinas could be thrown in, a fight or flight instinct kicked in and a jawbreaker-superkick knocked Scotty into Rayven.
CUT TO: DANIELLE PAGE TALKING HEAD - RINGSIDE.
DANIELLE PAGE: Get a room.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Back in the ring, Latimer is put in the corner and Salinas unleashed several kicks to the chest before a jumping kick to the cheek sent Latimer along the ropes where he’d be dropkicked out and wound up in front of Kidd Dudley. Victoria then came flying out through the ropes for a DDT but Latimer ducked out the way - letting Kidd take the DDT! Salinas stood up to meet Danielle face to face yet again, whom gave her a theatrical wave - as Latimer pulled Salinas back for a back suplex again on the edge of the ring! Salinas remained on the mat holding her back - Latimer landed it a second time - no time for a third, he rolled her back in and Latimer delivered a big spinning blue thunder bomb - that should be it he thought. Both legs hooked but Salinas kicked out at 2.98.
Salinas and Scotty got to their knees and exchanged punches, the more experienced brawler Latimer would actually cut Salinas above the eye on punch number 6. A slightly blinded champion was on the back foot as Latimer drove his shoulder into her back over and over in the corner he almost exhausted the full five count - but he would pick up a heap of steam and run back for a double knee press - MISSED IT! Salinas striked back with a Bulldog - Vanity Breaker combo! But the back pain caused a delay, Scotty had rolled from her and the crawl was slow. She got an arm over the challenger but Scotty managed to kick out at 2.999.
(Back to the Action) Salinas went for a springboard dropkick on Scotty whom caught it and turned it into a deep, deep Boston Crab hold. Victoria still had trouble seeing but managed to crawl her way to the ring ropes slowly, the hold and agony in this match up was at a tumultuous point - two times everyone thought Salinas would tap out but she continued to crawl. Ray, Kidd and even Danielle got up from their seats to watch a new champion be crowned as Victoria faded.
Referee Boscoe Clark dropped the arm once, he dropped the arm twice, both limb but the third time Salinas hung on! A burst of energy, ruthless and agonizing determination made her crawl and grab the ring ropes with both hands. Scotty tried to pull her from the ropes but she clung to them, which saw Kidd Dudley tell Latimer to break the hold. Scotty did so at four when he saw he couldn’t get Salinas off the ropes, quickly told Dudley to stay out of it, and a sliding yakuza kick knocked Salinas out the ring.
Outside, Scotty performed another back suplex, this time on the barricade and held the Grand Title in his hands. He mouthed something to Salinas before setting the title aside, irish whip into the ring post! REVERSED By Victoria! Scotty collides and then a double knee press by Salinas, making Latimer eat steel a second time. Salinas got Latimer back in the ring - running on empty she connected with Vanity Breaker again - this time her arm landed on Latimer as the champion was spent, the challenger was out cold and referee Boscoe counted the pinfall - one, two, three.
