Tenacity Wrestling - Show 10: Matt’s Night Out June 14th, 2024
SEGMENT: ‘WORTH IT’
INT: THE VENUE - BACKSTAGE Backstage we find the man of the hour, Matt Stone, talking to a small gathering of people.
MATT STONE: So here’s the deal, this is my big night and it has to be perfect! I need banners hanging from every hallway, I need tables set up everywhere filled with bowls of red M&Ms and I need everyone to be on the lookout for a crazy curly haired woman holding a chair. You guys have all that?
Matt looks from one to the other to the other and gets nothing but blank expressions on their faces
MATT STONE: Perfect, now go forth and set everything up. Fly my pretties, fly!
The group sort of just shuffle off in different directions.
CUT TO: MATT STONE TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
MATT STONE: Good help is so hard to find.
(Scene End) SEGMENT: ‘WORTH IT’
INT: THE VENUE - BACKSTAGE - EARLIER TODAY “Diamond Princess” Danielle Page is walking into the Tenacity Wrestling Arena in Miami, Florida. Danielle is walking with her usual confident swagger.
DANIELLE PAGE: I am feeling damn good walking into Matt’s Night Out. Matt as in Matt Stone? Are we seriously naming a show after him? Sabrina, Abby, ladies, if you two want to name a show after Matt Stone you might try considering, “Matt Stone:The man who loves to be all up in the business of the Page Sisters because he is in love with Summer Page and proposed to her before ever meeting her.” That sounds like a much better show name. Don’t you all think?
Danielle strolls down a hallway to her locker room.
DANIELLE PAGE: All of you got to see me beat down that faux royal Faziah Marshall. I showed her that I’m true royalty, didn’t I? Now tonight it is Kidd Dudley gets to share my spotlight for his fifteen minutes of fame. As confident as Kidd is, when I’m done with him I’m going to send him back to DudleyVille where he won’t be able to sit at the adult table because that’s where I hold court. That’s why I’m walking out of here tonight with my second Tenacity Wrestling victory and one step closer to becoming Grand Champion. You’ll be put in your place as my place is atop of this company. Got that Kid?
Danielle gets to her locker room, she opens the door, walks into her locker room, and slams the door behind her.

'MATCH #1' 'STARTING OFF’ JESSICA CARTER Vs FAIZAH MARSHALL
INT: THE VENUE - THE RING
Jessica Carter gets both legs taken from underneath her by Faizah who goes for an early Boston crab - only Jess is able to spin Marshall out. Marshall got back up quick and pulled the ropes down on an oncoming Jess. Carter took a forearm while on the apron before Faiz tried a rope hung kick - Jess blocked it, hit back with her roundhouse through the ropes and slingshot DDT - NO! Faizah Marshall drops Jess on the mat and hit a bottom rope catapult guillotine!
CUT TO: MARINA MARSTON TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
MARINA MARSTON I feel for you there, Jess.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Marshall repeatedly worked over Jess’s abdomen and managed to plant Jess in the middle of the ring with a very quick rebound german suplex. Of course the Queen of Chaos basked in the glory before running and hitting a knee lift to Jess in the corner. Marshall looked for a superplex but Carter kicked off the ropes as she got lifted and struck with a tornado DDT. The Carter fans go wild as Jess secures a pinfall after hitting a bridging german suplex but Faizah was nowhere near done. Jess stayed on offense with a well placed arm drag and followed it with the running sunset flip pin, Carter giving a wink to Jenny Carter watching but only got a two count for her trouble.
Jess went to try to hit a veneno on Marshall only to get a knee to the abdomen, hip toss and Faiziah connected with a running double foot stomp. She stalked Carter and appeared to go for the brainbuster! Jessica managed to push off a split second before Marshall dropped and hit a running leg drop across the back of Marshall’s head. Faizah was then pulled up and Jess now tried the brainbuster but took two knees to the top of the head. Faizah was freed and knocked Jess into the corner with her savate kick. A face wash set up Jess for a springboard seated senton by Faizah who tried to win off it. Jess’s abdomen clearly hurting her kept her pinned for two but she got her legs up and dragged Faizah down for a pinfall. Faizah got counted for one before she sat up, this time she had both legs hooked and Jess managed to burst out at 2.8.
CUT TO: SCOTTY LATIMER TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
SCOTTY LATIMER Hey those counter pins can surprise you. Jess almost got caught out there..
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Faizah quickly connected with a slap, a straight elbow and looked for a german suplex. Blocked by Jess! Forearm to the back of the head by Marshall and goes for a wheelbarrow suplex! Jess reversed into a bulldog! No Faize bounced her off the ropes and atomic drop! Jess grimaced and winced at the landing before she connected with a springboard kick to knock Jess down - and Faiz looked into the hard cam with a high adrenaline scream.
She turned her attention back to Jess, ramming her face first into the corner - several gut kicks were issued by Marshall before she was made to back off by referee Boscoe. Faiz let Jess come at her, thinking bad body drop but Jess held the trunks, pulling herself through for another sunset flip, lost Faizah during the roll who rolled back onto her feet - SAVATE KICK DUCKED and Jess with a roll up! One - TWO- THREE! NO Faizah kicked out at the last second.
CUT TO: MILLIE SMITH TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
Backstage Millie has her hands covering her mouth and nose watching the TV, sighing with relief at the kick out.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Jess fed off the crowd getting behind her. She looked for a springboard sunset flip but Faiz stepped back and caught her, Powerbomb lift but Jess escaped, turning it into a backstabber! Kicked Faiz into the ring ropes for a full legmare bridging pin but Faizah is able to kick on out. Before Jess could hit a running clothesline, Faizah caught her with the scoop powerslam. Double foot stomp on Jess’ abdomen for good measure and then a BAE Alert (Top Rope Moonsault) landed on Jess. Referee Boscoe was right there to score the one, the two, and the decisive three count for the win.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING
In the ring, Aubrey Williams took to the mic to announce the winner.
AUBREY WILLIAMS: Ladies and Gentlemen your winner of this match - Faizah Marshall!f
Faizah Marshall got back up to celebrate her first victory, and held up her two index fingers to the crowd banged her hands together and held the one hand ahead of her heart with two fingers - symbolizing how many wins she had to go before the title shot. Faizah made this crystal clear by saying into the camera “Matt/Vic, I’m on my way. Be ready.”
CUT TO: MATT STONE TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
MATT STONE “Be Ready?” Matt Stone is going to be ready for each and every challenger.
CUT TO: VICTORIA SALINAS TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
VICTORIA SALINAS She said that? Hm, I guess all I have to say back is - qualify.
(Scene End) Winner: Faizah Marshall via Pinfall - BAE Alert (Top Rope Moonsault) Match Time: 12:07
SEGMENT: ‘TALK THE TALK BEFORE WE WALK THE WALK’
INT: THE VENUE - IN THE RING Matt’s music fades out as he stands happily in the ring, microphone in hand. Everyone’s favourite sight.
MATT STONE: Just like Jason Derulo I’ve put my name first tonight so everyone knows exactly what to expect on this show. Matt’s Night Out, but tonight is just the beginning I assure you. SInce day 1 I’ve been saying I’m destined to be the Grand Champion, The Number One so to speak and tonight you all get to witness that history.
CUT TO: MATT STONE TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM
MATT STONE: It’s gunna be lit
INT: THE VENUE - THE RING
MATT STONE: I’ve had 3 wins for awhile now but I was told I had to wait my turn while others went ahead of me and failed. Failed failed failed, the failures but I’m different than them.I’m better than them and tonight Victoria Salinas says goodbye to Hollywood. I’m a Soldier and Without Me, this Business is like a Square Dance. Fear not, Superman’s here and I’ll say what I say ‘Till I collapse.
CUT TO: MATT STONE TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM
MATT STONE: The Real Slim Stone
INT: THE VENUE - THE RING Before Matt could continue naming Eminem songs, he’s interrupted by the theme song of the Grand Champion herself. Victoria Salinas does not seem amused as she gets to the ring rather quickly. She’s got her own microphone along with the championship and she glares at Matt for a bit before she begins to speak.
VICTORIA SALINAS: First off, I’m not all about that Hollywood nonsense so I’m not saying “goodbye” when it’s never been important for me to say “hello” to something so obnoxiously overrated to begin with. Secondly, your rattling off of Eminem songs is… shoot… what’s that word kids these days like to use?
Cringe?
Yeah, that’s it. It’s absolutely cringe. Hell, I could do that sort of thing to. Because Matt, I’m NOT going to be a slave for you. I didn’t lose this belt to someone TOXIC like Kendrick Kross and all I have to say about my last defense against Jessica Carter is OOPS I DID IT AGAIN!
See how easy that is to turn a famous singer’s songs into punchlines?
Victoria pauses as she gets a quick eye roll in.
VICTORIA SALINAS: And as much as I don’t want to make another Britney reference here, “stronger than yesterday”... or I suppose “my last match” seems to be the theme of my run here. See, when this company first started and we were busy crowning the first ever Tenacity World Champion, nobody gave me a chance. You heard all about Scotty Latimer. You heard all about Coda. You heard all about Raion Kido. You heard about… well… YOU.
But one name nobody mentioned was mine. But I surprised a hell of a lot of people… imagine that… me, an 8 time… at that point about to be 9 time… world champion surprising people. Crazy right? But when I won this championship? Shocking the world is exactly what I did. That piece of garbage Kendrick Kross acted like he was hot shit over a COUNTOUT and thought it was a free ticket to a world championship.
When it mattered most?
NOPE! I pinned him.
Who gave me a chance to do that? Not many people.
Hell, I’m pretty sure the predictions against Jessica were more 50/50 than I’d like it to be. You’re a better competitor than Kendrick, for sure. But as far as obnoxious cringe? You’re just as bad. You’re celebrating something you haven’t even won yet. People think I can’t survive this gauntlet, well that’s fine. I’m building this championship into something special and I’m not about to let it go yet.
The crowd is of course cheering for Victoria here all while Matt is standing in the ring, glaring daggers at the champion albeit from a safe distance.
MATT STONE: Victoria, you drive me crazy! Celebrating something that hasn’t happened yet? That’s my prerogative and you’ve got sa problem with it? Why don’t you do somethin’?
VICTORIA SALINAS: Dear lord, did you grow up past the 5th grade?
Victoria has another eye roll moment, but she keeps her composure.
VICTORIA SALINAS: Doing “something” is what I’ve always done. I hated the way Kendrick Kross “won” against me, and I did something about it by putting him in the back of the line where he belongs. I hated being overlooked because I wasn’t a certain name, but I did something about it by winning this championship and I WILL be doing “something” when that ego of yours bursts so much you won’t even know what hit you. Now I see why people don’t like you around here and while I’m not going to jump on the hate train, just know this. You’re not going to be any different than the so called “failures” that have already had their shot.
Matt eyes her for a few more seconds listening to what she has to say, having the crowd behind her and after a brief thinking session he elects to yield the ring to her, sliding out and holding a hand up.
MATT STONE: You can have this small battle, I don't want any excuses tonight when I walk out with that championship. Tonight champ…no one can shut me up!
VICTORIA SALINAS: i’ll do that… and when I do, you’re going to be just like my ex: impotent and unable to get the job done!
Victoria drops the microphone as some of the crowd has an “OOF” moment at this. She glares at Matt before she turns and leaves the ring.
(Scene End) SEGMENT: ‘DE JA DEBUT’
INT: THE VENUE - BACKSTAGE Backstage we find the man of the hour, Matt Stone, talking to a small gathering of people
RAYVEN HARDY: I did not elbow you anywhere illegal. How dare you complain to management about me.
Shane just continued to tape up his wrist band in black tape, tore off the end with his teeth and made sure the line was perfectly straight before he flattened it.
RAYVEN HARDY: Excuse me. I’m talking to you.
SHANE SWEENEY: I’ll address you when you’re booked against me. Right now..
At this point in his statement, he was talking outloud to himself.
SHANE SWEENEY: The only woman that matters in this business is Marina Marston - at least until the ring bell - then it’s all about Shane Sweeney being announced the winner. In my official debut. That’s all that matters.
RAYVEN HARDY: Uhhh - hold on, I beat you in your debut. You can’t just ignore that-
Predictably, Shane Sweeney did not listen and headed off towards the match.
RAYVEN HARDY: Okay, be weird like that. I’ve got things to focus on. Kendrick tonight and then, well, you know. #IYKYK.
Ray clapped and squeezed her hands together excitedly. Gleeful smile, then her eyes caught a staff member putting out a Matt Stone standee holding the Tenacity Grand Championship. This one inspired by Dodgeball the movie as it immediately speaks.
MATT STONE STANDEE: I’m better than you - and you know it.
And Rayven comes face to face with the standee.
CUT TO: MATT STONE STANDEE TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM
MATT STONE STANDEE: Shut Me Up (Laughs) We know you can’t.
Before a feminine arm stretched out to take the standee away.

'MATCH #2' 'STARTING OFF’ MARINA MARSTON Vs SHANE SWEENEY
INT: THE VENUE - THE RING
The bell rings, and both competitors circle each other cautiously. Shane attempts to assert dominance early with a series of trash talks and showboating gestures, but Marina remains focused, ready to capitalize on any opening. They lock up, and Shane uses his size advantage to push Marina into the corner. Before he can capitalize, Marina slips out with a quick arm drag, followed by a dropkick that sends Shane staggering.
CUT TO: DANIELLE PAGE TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
DANIELLE PAGE I’ll give credit where it’s due - Marina has been watching my matches and learning how to perfect the dropkick. She did a good one there, not Diamond Princess quality more…Brass Stablehand. You’re getting there.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Marina stays on the offensive, unleashing a flurry of kicks and strikes, targeting Shane's legs and midsection. She connects with a flying crossbody off the ropes, taking Shane down again. As Shane tries to regain his composure, Marina ascends to the top turnbuckle, aiming for a top rope elbow drop, but Shane rolls out of harm's way just in time.
Seizing the opportunity, Shane grabs Marina's leg as she tries to get up, pulling her into a vicious spinebuster. He follows up with a straight jacket neck-breaker and goes for an early cover, but Marina kicks out at two. Shane remains relentless, grounding Marina with a sling blade and a series of stomps, aiming to wear her down.
CUT TO: RAYVEN HARDY TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
RAYVEN HARDY Just for the record - I won in Shane’s debut. Okay, just in case he tries to ignore it..
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Marina begins to fight back with swift kicks and acrobatic maneuvers, catching Shane off guard. She connects with a standing moonsault, but Shane kicks out at two. Marina climbs the turnbuckle once more, signaling for her finisher, Seeing Stars - a triangle choke. She locks it in tightly, Shane struggling to break free. The crowd rallies behind Marina as she applies more pressure, inching closer to victory.
CUT TO: MATT STONE TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
MATT STONE Of course I was watching, and yeah that was close. I’ve got to keep my sunglasses covered.eyes on all the talent.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) In a desperate attempt, Shane manages to power out of the triangle choke, lifting Marina up and planting her with a powerful Envy Driver (Death Valley Driver). Both competitors are down, exhausted from the intense back-and-forth. Marina catches Shane off guard with a jawbreaker staggering him as she looks to mount a comeback.
Marina wastes no time and locks in her triangle choke once again, this time applying it with even more determination. Shane struggles but pins Marina - No it’s a float over for extra leverage yet somehow Marina was able to kick out! Fans all around the front row look stunned she kicked out.
Shane looked to get control Marina begins to fight back with swift kicks and acrobatic maneuvers, catching Shane off guard. She connects with a standing moonsault, but Shane kicks out at two. Determined to regain control, Shane rolls out of the ring, catching his breath and strategizing his next move.
CUT TO: VICTORIA SALINAS TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
VICTORIA SALINAS Smart move, disengaging can honestly be the difference between a calculated win, or a wild mistake that losses you the match.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Shane slowly climbs back into the ring, but Marina doesn't give him a moment's rest. She delivers a series of quick strikes and a dropkick, driving Shane back into the corner. Marina unleashes a barrage of kicks, targeting Shane's midsection and legs, weakening him further. Despite Marina's onslaught, Shane manages to counter with a knee lift, stunning Marina. He takes control with a fallaway slam, sending Marina crashing into the turnbuckle. Shane sees his opportunity and hoists Marina onto his shoulders, executing his finishing move, the California Dreamin’ (Unprettier). SEGMENT: ‘MAKING DO’
INT: THE VENUE - BACKSTAGE Marina Marston walked backstage slightly dejected by the loss, She then saw on the table outside her changing room a box of chocolates and a card with her name written in handwriting she recognized immediately.
The camera turned its attention to the upcoming match as Danielle. She's just finished addressing her thousands of IG followers. She watched Marina walk by with her gifts and gave her a slight side eye.
DANIELLE PAGE: Never thought I'd see the day when someone else gets a gift and I don't.
Danielle then turned her attention to the person she was waiting to see. Referee Orville who comes out with his referee shirt just put on.
DANIELLE PAGE: Orville. Just the guy I wanted to see.
ORVILLE: You wanted to see…me?
At this point in his statement, he was talking outloud to himself.
DANIELLE PAGE: I don't see that Marston girl waiting around for you.
ORVILLE: She actively avoids me. Spends more time with your opponent actually.
Predictably, Shane Sweeney did not listen and headed off towards the match.
DANIELLE PAGE: That's just wrong. Luckily for you a Diamond Princess like myself is hoping you're going to be ready to call her match tonight. You're already dressed for it.
ORVILLE: Actually, Ms. Page. Boscoe has already set himself on that match.
Ray clapped and squeezed her hands together excitedly. Gleeful smile, then her eyes caught a staff member putting out a Matt Stone standee holding the Tenacity Grand Championship. This one inspired by Dodgeball the movie as it immediately speaks.
DANIELLE PAGE: He's got quite a monopoly over the matches doesn't he…very well, Orville. I hope you'll be quick to respond to the match should anything happen - Kidd Dudley could take full advantage, and you wouldn't want to see this body bruised by the unforgiving steel chair?
Orville’s eyes followed her hand down her abdomen.
CUT TO: DANIELLE PAGE TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM
DANIELLE PAGE: “What am I up to”? Nothing. Mind your own business.
(Scene End)
'MATCH #3' 'CAN DO ATTITUDE’ DANIELLE PAGE Vs KIDD DUDLEY
INT: THE VENUE - THE RING Starting the match off with a lock up, both Page and Dudley wanted the advantage. Danielle is able to shift behind Dudley but he pulled apart her arms and twisted her dominant arm. Danielle tried to roll to undo it but Kidd went with her, keeping the lock on. Danielle used the ropes to undo the twist, hammer fisted his hands and then slammed his head into the mat - relishing in the boos.
The fans saw Danielle drive her feet into his shoulder while using the ropes. She got a verbal warning after she choked Kidd on the ropes for nearly a full five count. The damage had been done and allowed Danielle to keep working over Kidd’s shoulder. One particular running dropkick to the back of his shoulder while he was seated left Kidd outside the ring feeling his shoulder.
CUT TO: SHANE SWEENEY TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
SHANE SWEENEY As I’m up against Kidd next show. Ropes of Wrath - Noted.
Shane loudly patted the same shoulder.
SHANE SWEENEY Noted.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Danielle connected with a couple of scratches before she got a warning from Boscoe. Her argumentative tendencies cost her as Kidd managed to get a running roll up - transitioned into an STF hold. Danielle cried out in pain and had a lot more extra weight to carry - still the Diamond Princess was able to get to the ropes and Kidd immediately broke the count (reminding the crowd he breaks on one). Danielle got whipped from the ropes, but she held the other set as Kidd timed a dropkick and hit nothing but air. Danielle attempted a running penalty kick but Kidd caught her foot, twisted it and pulled Danielle into a snap suplex. Kidd covered but Danielle kicked out. SNAP Suplex AGAIN! Another cover but same result. Danielle tried to crawl out the ring but its a release deadlift german suplex by Kidd Dudley followed by a kip up.
Kidd went for a big lungblower but Danielle grabbed the ropes to save herself. She caught him as he tried to somersault backwards onto his feet with a running knee - then an axe kick before some mean girl trash talk. Danielle’s chick kick earned her a two count, her enziguri - Princess Kick combo scored her a two point five, but she then saw Dudley counter the spike DDT into a powerslam.
CUT TO: MARINA MARSTON TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
Marina leaped out of her seat with a fan-like pop, then remembered where she was and sat back down.
MARINA MARSTON Sorry that was a little loud.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Dudley worked over the arm after a wing stunner, performing a stomp on all four limbs, and landed a springboard knee drop to the arm. Danielle was able to get out the ring before Dudley could lock in a Mighty Morphin’ Armbar. Kidd followed Danielle out the ring where she apparently tried to get under the ring. She was pulled out from under the ring and with her came a kendo stick. She looked up to see the official telling her to drop it. Not wanting to lose the match, Danielle discarded it and fired back with some punches. She threw Kidd gut first into the barricade and then the ring apron. Once the pair were back in the ring, Danielle looked to land the claymore kick but got turned inside out by a Big Boy Lariat.
Danielle got dragged up and german suplexed yet again into the corner - struck back with a boot to the oncoming ‘Dudlian’ - Chick Kick, and Kidd teetered on his feet. Danielle sprung off the second rope and hit the DDT! Spiking Kidd right on his head.
CUT TO: DANIELLE PAGE TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
DANIELLE PAGE (CACKLING) That was such a great moment. Slammed him right on his head.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Danielle argued with the official, claiming she got a three if this was held where she trained. She took her frustrations out on Kidd in the corner with forearms and kicks. The weight advantage allowed Kidd to reverse the whip and caused Danielle to bounce out the corner - CAUGHT into an airplane spin! Danielle grabbed referee Boscoe by the shirt and the official gets struck by her boots as Kidd Dudley began the airplane spin with almost instant velocity! Death Valley Driver to finish it and he then realized Boscoe was down and just rolled out the ring.
Kidd looked to get the official back in the ring, unaware of Danielle coming up behind him with the kendo stick! She swung it so hard it broke immediately across the back of his head! Danielle quickly put Kidd back in the ring and left Boscoe on the floor. She called for someone to come from the back.
CUT TO: AUBREY WILLIAMS TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
AUBREY WILLIAMS Even I was like who’s she calling?
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Danielle Page easily connected with her Diamonds Are Forever Neckbreaker. After the kendo shot, Kidd Dudley was down and out. The replacement referee Orville made the count for the match.. CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING
In the ring, Aubrey Williams took to the mic to announce the winner.
AUBREY WILLIAMS: Ladies and Gentlemen your winner of this match - Danielle Pagef
Danielle respectfully declined Orville raising her hand and did so herself, to some heavy boos and criticism from the crowd.
CUT TO: KIDD DUDLEY TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
KIDD DUDLEY Nah I’m gonna go speak to Carmen over that BS.
(Scene End) Winner: Danielle Page via Pinfall - Diamonds are Forever (Reverse Neckbreaker) Match Time: 13:14
SEGMENT: ‘MAKING DO’
INT. THE VENUE - CARMEN’S OFFICE We see Matt Stone walk into the office as Carmen is on the phone with someone, not that that would stop Matt of course.
MATT STONE: Carmen Roja-Torres, the name just rolls off the tongue, doesn’t it? I’ve got so much to talk to you about, so take a seat and get ready to take notes.
CARMEN ROJA-TORRES: I'm on the phone.
Carmen quickly returned to her call.
CARMEN ROJA-TORRES: I’ll have to call you back later. Sure. Okay, goodbye - Yes, Matt Stone. What is this new list, hopefully it's not something that should be sent to the jolly man in the North Pole.
MATT STONE: Oh Santa has nothing to do with this, your brilliant idea of naming this show after me has inspired me to come up with more show titles…all about me! Obviously next is going to be Matt’s Big Celebration…but after that, we’ve got Enter the Stone Age, Family Matt-ers and my personal favourite…Matt versus those stupid idiots that won’t let me in their crappy club for jerks!
There’s a small, brief pause between Matt and Carmen.
CARMEN ROJA-TORRES: Oh. Oh you were serious.
Carmen quickly got up on her laptop the upcoming schedule she’d made.
CARMEN ROJA-TORRES: Perhaps in all the championship excitement you’ve forgotten we have the Ropes of Wrath all set, tickets on sale as it’s the event you or Victoria will defend the title against Latimer. Family Matters - I’m afraid that’s already been set as The Enchanted Evening. I’ll keep that Enter the Stone Age in case Warner Bros comes knocking for an animated crossover with you.
Matt just eyes her for a second, wondering why she was being so cruel on his special night.
MATT STONE: There’s nothing enchanted about a night where I’m not promoted as the best thing in the company, Carmen. The Grapes of Rope doesn’t even make sense, why not just call it a winery at that point?
CARMEN ROJA-TORRES: We just need to tone down your ego back to a realistic level.
She calmly added with the air turning back the dial motion added for dramatic effect.
CARMEN ROJA-TORRES: Firstly you have to capture the title.
MATT STONE: Don’t worry about that, it’s just a matter of minutes at this time before I go out there and show you, Victoria and everyone else watching that I’m the new face of this company.
He pauses for a second, posing for Carmen
MATT STONE: And what a nice face it is, too!
CARMEN ROJA-TORRES: Uh-huh. If that's everything, Mr. Stone, I do have a meeting with the two owners coming up in a few minutes.
Mat’s eyes light up when Carmen mentions that.
MATT STONE: The big bosses had to come by for my big night, that’s perfect. Rina and Blakey are a pretty solid cheer squad for me.
(Scene End) 'MATCH #4' 'COLLECTING THE W’ KENDRICK KROSS Vs RAYVEN HARDY
INT: THE VENUE - THE RING
Rayven Hardy enters first, her vibrant energy captivating the audience as she dances down the ramp to the beats of "Fly" by Nicki Minaj. The San Fran Miracle, as she's fondly called, basks in the cheers from her fans, clearly excited to showcase her skills tonight.
Next up is Kendrick Kross, his entrance a stark contrast to Rayven's. Clad in black pants and red Jordans, Kross marches to the ring with a focused, almost stoic demeanor. The fans boo him, knowing his reputation as a loner and a fierce competitor.
The bell rings, signaling the start of the match. Kross and Hardy circle each other cautiously, aware of the other's capabilities. They lock up in the center of the ring, with Kross gaining the early advantage with a snap suplex. Hardy rolls through and kips up, showcasing her agility and resilience.

CUT TO: SCOTTY LATIMER TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
SCOTTY LATIMER Only a two, get used to that Kendrick. When I’m holding the gold that’s all you might get to against me..
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) As the match progresses, both competitors trade momentum. Hardy tries to mount a comeback with her high-flying offense, hitting Kross with a springboard spin kick and a sleeperhold drop. She goes for another high-risk move, but Kross catches her in mid-air with a European uppercut.
Kross now takes control, wearing Hardy down with stiff kicks and knees. He sets her up for his finisher, the curb stomp aka the Tramp Stamp, but Hardy counters with an arm drag. She attempts a roll-up pin, but Kross kicks out at two, narrowly escaping defeat.
CUT TO: VICTORIA SALINAS TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.

Matt Stone can now be seen in the parking lot area where ASHER FORRESTER is, working as a valet for tonight.
MATT STONE: Rina’s Man, where’s Kidd Dudley’s car?
ASHER FORRESTER: He left, Matt. Him and rina.
MATT STONE: He took the boss with him? That was my che-
ASHER FORRESTER: No, not Sabs.
Matt Stone is then at a loss for words. He inhales before a snap cut to: The nearby church exterior shot with a loud organ playing Birds on top of the arena all fly off Stunned workers looking where Matt was
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Hardy manages to mount a comeback with a flurry of quick strikes and aerial moves. She hits Kross with a spike hurricanrana and follows up with a springboard spin kick that sends Kross staggering. As Hardy ascends the turnbuckle for her Skittle Star Press (Shooting Star Press), Kross regains his bearings. He quickly rolls out of harm's way, causing Hardy to crash and burn on the mat. Seizing the opportunity, Kross delivers a punishing knee strike to Hardy's midsection. CUT TO: RAYVEN HARDY TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
RAYVEN HARDY I really thought I had him. Hurt so much hitting nothing but mat.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Kross sets Hardy up for his finisher, nailing a DDT and then the Tramp Stamp (Curb Stomp). He positions her carefully on the mat, sizing her up as the crowd boos loudly. With precision and force, Kross stomps down viciously on Hardy's head, driving her face-first into the canvas. CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING
In the ring, Aubrey Williams took to the mic to announce the winner.
AUBREY WILLIAMS: Ladies and Gentlemen your winner of this match - Kendrick Krossf
Rayven rolled out the ring, leaving Kendrick Kross to celebrate the win although some keen-eyed fans noticed only Kendrick left the arena, while the majority did miss that minor detail.
CUT TO: KENDRICK KROSS TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
Holding two fingers up to the camera to form a V, Kross then held the other hand upside down to make an M. KENDRICK KROSS Matt - Victoria, it doesn’t really matter. One more win and I’ll be ripping the belt from their greedy claws and representing this company as the new and improved Grand Champion.

INT. THE VENUE - CARMEN’S OFFICE Inside Carmen’s office we find three individuals who’ve never appeared on Tenacity TV but by no means unknown in wrestling. In alphabetical order by family name we see Derrick La’Bell, Kace Matthews, and Logan Traeger. All three dressed casually.
CARMEN ROJA-TORRES: Sorry to pull you away from your token seats, Gentlemen. I just wanted to have a private word regarding the upcoming tournament I’ve been preparing as a Tenacity Wrestling special event.
DERRICK LA’BELL: Looking forward to it.
KACE MATTHEWS: Same. Looking forward to winning it.
CARMEN ROJA-TORRES: Okay, let’s save that type of talk for later. I just wanted to make sure all three of you are aware of the prize at the end of the tournament. A shot at the Grand Championship as per our contender system here. Of course, should either of you be so fortunate to not only win but defeat Matt or Victoria, or whoever happens to be holding the championship then - we look forward to seeing you here in Tenacity on a more regular schedule.
CARMEN ROJA-TORRES: Now, of course, that doesn’t mean we’re not looking to sign whomever in this room doesn’t win. In fact.
Three different chimes go off in each of their pockets.
CARMEN ROJA-TORRES: I’ve sent you all a very attractive contract. Feel free to review but I’d like to have a full roster, and a stacked one at that. So enjoy the show, scout the main event, because next month we’re going to be holding the tournament.
Derrick’s personal ringtone goes off - Animal Instinct - Mobb Deep and he doesn’t even have to look at it.
DERRICK LA’BELL: Girlfriend, Thanks for the time, Carmen. - Hey
As Derrick is first out the office, followed by Kace but not before he leans back in to say.
KACE MATTHEWS: I’ll let you know. The Grand Champ gets a photoshoot though, right?
CARMEN ROJA-TORRES: (JOKING) Possibly, Kace - if they’re photogenic.
LOGAN TRAEGER: That’s you out then, Kace.
Traeger gave Kace a firm, competitively spirited slap on the back on his way out as Kace followed him out. The door was about to close when a shoe stopped it from closing.
DANE MITCHELL: Sorry I’m late, Carmen. We had a mad rush for the new dish.
CARMEN ROJA-TORRES: It’s fine. As a graduate now - I thought I’d just talk to you about an upcoming opportunity in July - if you’re interested..
(Scene End) SEGMENT: ‘MATTROX’
INT. THE VENUE - BACKSTAGE On this special day of Matt Stone appreciation, we find him walking backstage wearing a brand new shirt, reading “Future Grand Slam Champion” across the front of it and #ShutMeUp on the back. He’s got that trademark smirk on his face as he seems to be in quite the good mood, waving to the crew and walking with some pep in his step and a tune in his heart singing out to no one particular.
MATT STONE: I am the champion, my friend. And I’ll keep on fighting till the end
As he then bumps into a buxom blonde who’s got a backstage pass dangling down from her neck. She then turns around to be none other than Roxanne Smith.
ROXIE SMITH: Ah!
Matt’s in too good of a mood to let something as silly as walking into another human being get him down so he just stopped his momentum and looked down at her.
MATT STONE: Pardon me Miss…
He looks down at her pass dangling from her neck.
MATT STONE: Oh Roxie, I’ve met you before…are you here for my big celebration?
ROXIE SMITH: I heard this was called Matt’s Night Out, celebration though - that means there’ll be cake?
He has to bite his tongue to avoid making a rather obvious joke.
MATT STONE: Well that’s up to Sabrina I think, but I would hope so. What I’ve learned is not to rely on Kimi to plan anything
ROXIE SMITH: Since when do you and Kimi hang out?
She looked rather alarmed, as he didn’t really fit with who Kimi usually spent time with.
MATT STONE: If by hang out you mean tweet each other, it was a week or two ago I’d say? Needless to say, she’s not the party planner I need
ROXIE SMITH: Fair enough. I’d have thought that you would have got your agent to plan a party for you.
He raises an eyebrow at that deep cut.
MATT STONE: My agent? I haven’t had one of those in years, all my success as of late is on me, as will the title win tonight.
ROXIE SMITH: You’re VERY confident, Matt Stone.
MATT STONE: When you’ve done all I’ve done, it just comes naturally.
ROXIE SMITH: Sounds like it does.
MATT STONE: I assume you’ve been following what I’ve been doing here? Clearly I’m the MVP here.
ROXIE SMITH: I have, I even know you’ve had a little ‘spat’ with Rayven Hardy.
MATT STONE: Spat is a very kind way of saying she’s been insufferable, yes. All I wanted was to get this title match, I don’t know what’s been her deal with it.
ROXIE SMITH: Well I hope you do great out there. I’ll be watching.
She squeezed his wrist a little before she saw Millie Smith waving the freshly made sandwiches Dane had made in catering for her and the visiting Roxie.
ROXIE SMITH: Catch you later.
MATT STONE: Yeah, catch ya later, and thanks

'MATCH #5' 'WHEN IT MATTERS MOST’ MATT STONE Vs VICTORIA SALINAS
INT: THE VENUE - THE RING
Matt Stone and Victoria stood by as Aubrey Elizabeth Williams announced their introductions and took the title from referee Boscoe. The start of the match saw Matt Stone get the better of Victoria with an arm drag and a running knee to the nose forced the official to check the champion could continue. Matt awaited in the corner as Victoria decided to fight on. She took the challenger down with the double legged takedown and furiously threw hands. The champ added a couple of stomps and kicks before she was forced to make a break as Matt had the ropes.
Stone forced Salinas to slow down by putting himself through the ropes as she came in hot and furious. Salinas begrudgingly agreed to go to a traditional lock up before she would front face lock Matt with some clubs to the back. Stone escaped the onslaught with an impressive bridging suplex, but only scored one off the maneuver. Stone got back up and the drop toe hold allowed Stone to lock in the side headlock. Of course, the crowd got behind the champion who fought back to her feet. Salinas connected with an elbow to escape, pulled Matt in for a DDT - SUPLEX REVERSAL AGAIN? No Salinas escaped and landed on her feet as Matt bridged and Salinas hit a jumping elbow drop to Stone. From there the champion began working over the abdomen with kicks in the corner, whipping Matt off the ropes and caught him in an abdominal hold, and hit a running dropkick to the mid-section that forced Matt to retreat to the outside.
CUT TO: SCOTTY LATIMER TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
SCOTTY LATIMER: She’s softening up Matt. If he somehow comes out on top of this, don’t think for a second I won’t go for that big red target.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Salinas took Matt down with an impressive somersault over the top rope and caught Matt Stone with a hurricanrana takedown. She was as riled up as the crowd were from seeing it - took Matt back inside the ring and after a neckbreaker, Salinas performed a springboard moonsault knee press right to the abdomen. Stone quickly got picked up for a pin but he was able to burst out on two. Salinas wasted no time in applying a headscissors chokehold but Matt Stone managed to crawl to the ring ropes. Salinas allowed Matt to escape, taunting while he got back up, then snatched him from the ropes with a quick side headlock takeover. Stone broke it with a headscissors clutch and looked to try piledrive Salinas very briefly - only Vic managed to land back on her feet and goes for the back body drop! She got Matt off his feet but the technician turned it into a sunset flip roll up and transitioned into a bottom rope guillotine? No - The champion rolls with the ropes but Stone went with the roll and kept his control. Salinas was away from the ropes so Matt turned her over into a Boston Crab,
CUT TO: MATT STONE TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
MATT STONE: Boston Crab! Never fails!
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Salinas charged at Matt who tried to counter with a jumping leg lariat. Salinas kicked the leg he was going to land on, causing Matt a crash landing on the arm. Salinas quickly took it from Matt, put it through her legs and dropped to a knee clamping the elbow between her knee and the mat. Stone rolled out the ring and tried to shake it off when he saw Salinas following like a shark on a blood trail. Stone slid back in the ring and as Victoria got back in, he came down across her back with a stomp, then a springboard knee drop to her arm - and wrapped it around the ring post for good measure. He revealed in the crowd’s boos, so he did it again - arm wrapped around the ring post and made a championship gesture and a shout out to his new social media bud.
Stone returned to the ring and got charged into the corner where Salinas tried to punish with punches but Stone was able to knee her back before a release suplex into the corner got him to 2.999 but Salinas was able to kick out there. Stone went right back to the arm, but Salinas resisted any arm submission hold by staying close to the ropes. Stone attempted to whip her off the ropes, Salinas reversed and chaotically crossbodied Stone through the ropes and they tumbled outside. Champions advantage forced Matt to get Salinas back into the ring, before he slid back inside - or tried to. A figure emerged from under the ring as Rayven Hardy tried to pull Matt out but he kicked her free. From Victoria’s point of view she couldn’t see Hardy, just Matt and struck at Matt with a leaping reverse bulldog.
CUT TO: DANIELLE PAGE TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
DANIELLE PAGE: I’m facing whoever loses this match next time, just saying I can do that move way better than Victoria. She only got a two - I’d have probably got a sweet 8 count pinning Matt..
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) The champion followed up with a running knee to Matt in the corner while he was seated. Salinas quickly brought the challenger away from the ropes to deliver her Vanity Breaker to score the victory.
CUT TO: VICTORIA SALINAS TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
VICTORIA SALINAS: The championship defense tour continues - bring it on Scotty..
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
In the ring, Aubrey Williams took to the mic to announce the winner.
AUBREY WILLIAMS: Ladies and Gentlemen your winner of this match - and Still!! Tenacity Grand Champion: Victoria Saliiiinnaas!
Victoria grabbed her title from the official while celebrating her defense. Stone is trying to tell the official Rayven Hardy grabbed his foot - even trying to reveal her under the ring but Hardy is nowhere to be found, on all four sides of the ring. Salinas spots Scotty at the top of the staircase in the arena applauding her match but ends the show with the title taunt across his waist.
CUT TO: MATT STONE TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
MATT STONE: Rayven Hardy - This Means War.
(Scene End) Winner: Victoria Salinas via Pinfall - Vanity Breaker (Somersault Reverse DDT) Match Time: 19:22 Title: Tenacity Grand Championship (2nd Title Defense) Title: Title Retained
