Tenacity Wrestling - Show 9: Lucha in the Fast Lane May 25th, 2024 SEGMENT: ‘WORTH IT’
EARLIER IN THE WEEK MATT STONE was walking around backstage, dressed casually since he had the night off. Despite being indoors, he covered his eyes inexpensive shades and walked around as if he owned the place. He DID have three wins, after all.
What he didn’t see was someone walking behind him, it was RAYVEN HARDY! She wore a ‘I’ll Shut Him Up!’ Shirt over her gear, of course an ode to what she plans on doing to Stone himself. In her right hand was a steel chair. She picks up the pace and gets right behind Matt who happened to catch a shadow coming up behind him.
Stone steps back and looks down at Rayven ‘s hand, the one holding the chair of course. The two make eye contact and Rayven says nothing as her chest rises, she was worked up visually.
MATT STONE: Whoa there Cowboy, I’m not here for a fight, I’m just here to see who I’m going to be facing for the title next show. You may have heard of it? It’s the Matt Show starring Matt…I’m Matt.
He still has a smug look on his face despite staring across at a fearsome woman holding a chair, either he thinks he’s fast enough to move out of the way should he need to or he’d rather make jokes than take her seriously.
RAYVEN HARDY: I know who you are. EVERYONE knows who you are. You never shut up about it.
Rayven eyes him up, her left hand shaking from the adrenaline she has running through her. She actually drops the chair in her right hand and steps closer to him. Matt, for his part, doesn’t back down and the two give us a face to face that can be clipped and used in so many future videos.
RAYVEN HARDY: You might not be here for a fight, but I made a promise. After what you’ve done not just to me, but to everyone else, there’s no way you’re winning that championship. Unless…you want to be a man and apologize.
Rayven is giving Matt a chance to apologize for ruining her debut, and for cheating her out of her first match in Tenacity!
Still face to face, her hands were still trembling. She was so close to him, she could lose her cool and take him out if she wanted to, but how much would it cost her? She could face suspension, or a fine, but it would be worth it. Right? It doesn’t help her situation that Matt is just standing there like a moron grinning moronically.
MATT STONE: I don’t think you’ve thought this through Ray..which I suppose doesn’t surprise me. You see, when I win the title, that’s when by the way, not if, when I win the title you’ll already be at 2 wins probably, maybe even 3. Don’t you think it would be better for you if you were the one to take the title from me? Hmm?
He can tell as he poses this question to her that she’s thinking about it, how gratifying that moment could feel.
MATT STONE: But you can’t do that if I don’t win the title, it’s axiomatic.
RAYVEN HARDY: You’re not winning the title.
The way he was grinning just made her want to leap into action more! She was about to do just that, she leans forward when she hears a familiar voice behind her.
VOICE: Ray?
Rayven turns around to see her 16 year old cousin that she’s training to wrestle, Maya, approaching them. Rayven had gotten her backstage access to the show so that she could see how things went behind the scenes. Maya looks at the chair on the ground and then reads Rayven’s body language.
MAYA HARDY: We were going to get some autographs, right?
Rayven glances back at Matt, he actually lifts his glasses up to inspect the woman who he’s never seen before. In a way, a Hardy might have just saved Stone!
RAYVEN HARDY: Yeah. We were Maya. I would ask Matt for his, but it won’t be worth anything in a few weeks.
MATT STONE: Kinda like yours now
Matt gets that quick one liner in before taking the distraction as a cue to get out of there, scampering down the hall and around the corner. Rayven wasn’t holding the chair anymore but she could still pack a punch!
Rayven goes to pursue but Maya puts a hand on her shoulder to stop her, telling her that it’s not worth it. Rayven nods and glares at Matt making his escape, things would only heat up from here! (Scene End) SEGMENT: ‘WORTH IT’
EARLIER TODAY DANIELLE PAGE arrived in the arena with a full shiny outfit, immediately catching Faizah Marshall making her way into the arena like she owned the place.
DANIELLE PAGE: No. You don’t enter here like that. Trying to be a Diamond Princess wannabe, that doesn’t fly here.
FAIZAH MARSHALL: You’re right. I don’t imitate, I elevate. Out of my way, Stepping Stone.
Faizah Marshall walked past Danielle who looked on annoyed. She stomped her way into the venue where she would immediately come into contact with someone who’s been unseen until tonight - and Danielle wasn’t pleased to have incidentally collided shoulder to shoulder with him.
DANIELLE PAGE: What are you doing? Hitting the Diamond Princess like that?
THE MAN BACKSTAGE: Sorry. I didn’t mean to knock you or nothing. I-
DANIELLE PAGE: No fans backstage - Security!
Danielle’s cry out saw two security come over to aid her with the sketchy guy.
THE MAN BACKSTAGE: NO! No No No I’m not a fan, I’m staff. I’m STAFF.
He revealed his staff badge to her which he pulled out of his bag he was carrying; she read his name.
DANIELLE PAGE: Orville Fulton? Referee
SECURITY: Checks out.
Danielle is a little sus as security take their leave.
ORVILLE FULTON: I started but I haven’t been given any match time. I’m always listed as backup official. It’s so lame. I can count. I could be the guy holding the title in the main event. Instead I just sit backstage just in case they need me.
A lightbulb went off in Danielle’s head as she listened to Orville, spying in his bag a Danielle Page hat.
DANIELLE PAGE: All that you just said - I can sympathize - well I can’t since I’ve been signed I’ve made it my mission to be on-camera as much as possible. Maybe tonight will be your lucky night… No Promises.
Danielle made a quick exit from Orville, keeping her eyes on the match graphic featuring her, which she loved, sharing it with Faizah, which made her less happy.

'MATCH #1' 'STARTING OFF RAYVEN HARDY Vs SHANE SWEENEY
INT: THE VENUE - THE RING
The initial match up started with Rayven and Shane trying to outdo each other in taunts before the ring bell. It ended with Rayven winning with a splits display; and Shane hitting a sliding lariat. Rayven got checked in the corner if she wanted to continue, fighting on. The pair locked up and a sly uppercut let Shane get the earlier advantage. The heavier, taller star made use of his reach as he wore down Hardy with strikes. Ultimately a taunt after clotheslining Rayven out the ring allowed Rayven to trip him, slam his leg over the apron, and hit a running dropkick off the apron to pop the ringside crowd.
Rayven stayed on her opponent with a couple elbow drops, and a jumping one but it was too early to put Sweeney away. Rayven managed to hit a running neck snap but the lionsault from the Miracle was blocked. Sweeney didn't capitalize as Rayven reversed a DDT into a pull back low clothesline, sweeping Sweeney off his feet. Before he could get back up, Rayven had sprung off the ropes to deliver a spin kick that did get Hardy a two count.
CUT TO: SHANE SWEENEY TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
SHANE SWEENEY: Little Miss Flash in the Pan.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Hardy went to connect with a 10 count punch but she was pulled by the hair to face plant the top turnbuckle, setting up a very quick swinging neckbreaker. Sweeney let Hardy roll outside as he went out, with a cock of the walk stride he helped Hardy up in a gentlemanly fashion - only to whip her straight into the steps and taunted for the crowd.
Hardy got sent back into the ring and Sweeney stood on the hair - pulled Hardy up by the arms. As Referee Boscoe began counting he performed reps but let go on four as Rayven tried to check for damage. Sweeney forced her back up and delivered the reverse suplex before trying to put Rayven away off a double stomp but Rayven fought on.
CUT TO: VICTORIA SALINAS TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
VICTORIA SALINAS: She's resilient, that Rayven Hardy.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Sweeney locked in a sleeper hold to try keep her down, but the fans spurred Hardy on. Sweeney witnessed his opponent fight up to her feet and elbowed her way to loosen the hold - Jawbreaker! Sweeney crashed down and Hardy appeared to measure him for a spike hurricanrana. Just as she went to get some speed, Sweeney rolled himself out the ring.
CUT TO: NOAH LEIFFSON TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
NOAH LEIFFSON: You gotta appreciate that Ring Awareness right there.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Sweeney cut Hardy’s momentum dead with the roll out, before he would lock up again, stomp on Rayven’s foot and got the double chicken wing. He began to turn Rayven but she broke free halfway through, kick to the chest to bring Shane up, angry taunt by Rayven into a big throat thrust that sent his chewing gum flying into the lights. Hardy dazed him with a standing spin kick but the springboard version hit nothing but air. Sweeney ducked it, knee slam by Sweeney and he hits Starstruck to Hardy in the corner - going straight into the fallaway slam into the corner!
Rayven managed to kick out of the pin, and took a jumping knee to the top of her back and then whipped her into the ropes. Sweeney looked for the double knees again only for Hardy to step up onto the second rope and land a rolling senton to him. Hardy clapped loudly and urged him to get back up - he shouldn’t have as Hardy was waiting with a flurry of forearms. On the ropes now, Sweeney got whipped into the other set of ropes for a way big hip toss from Hardy who posed pretty proud of herself.
CUT TO: JESSICA CARTER TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
JESSICA CARTER: You go girl!
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Hardy got Sweeney into the corner with some further forearms but took too much time trying to get him on the top rope. A quick headbutt separated the pair and Sweeney put Rayvy in the corner with a jumping side kick. This time Sweeney hit the double knees and another fallaway slam left the San Fran Miracle down. Sweeney didn’t let her get out the ring, forcing her on to the top rope as he delivered a superplex. The crowd then watched as he tried to pin Rayven with a single foot pin, with Rayven kicking out at two.
Hardy got dragged up and whipped toward the corner. She put a boot up to stop herself but clotheslined from the back forced her to do the splits again. Sweeney definitely made some comments about it before he tried to put Rayven away with the split legged moonsault. Hardy got a kick out, kneed Sweeney in the ribs over and over until he rolled away. She pulled herself up and popped the crowd with a running rib kick - going with the momentum and hit a standing moonsault on Sweeney, hooked the leg but it was Sweeney kicking out.
CUT TO: MATT STONE TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
MATT STONE: Kinda wished this match took place next show. Rayven, just look at her. She's running on fumes. She'll probably take a three hour nap.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Hardy tripped Sweeney with the double legged takedown, elbowed the inside of the leg and then it looked like she was going to hit a wheelbarrow suplex until Sweeney forced a rope break - Hardy slid through the ropes and caused Sweeney to hit the mat on his tailbone. Hardy quickly got on the apron and stepped through for a senton - SWEENEY bridges, spins around into a gutwrench lift and catches Hardy with an STO drop. Nobody saw it coming, even Sweeney looked stunned as basic instinct kicked in. Sweeney looked to land a forearm smash - COUNTERED - SPIKE HURRICANRANA by Rayven but she couldn’t get the pin off it. Both stars laid out and referee Boscoe began counting both stars out. At a count of seven, Rayven broke it by getting up and fired some wild, stretching hook punches. Two landed, the third got blocked as Sweeney gut punched her into the corner. He looked at this position and thought about retribution time.
Shane ran, dove through Hardy’s legs as she had done but she lept up. Nothing to grab, Shane slide through the ropes empty and Hardy landed on the apron. Another running kick by Hardy on Shane’s chest sent him away so Hardy could floor him with a beautiful Asai Moonsault. Hardy returned Shane into the ring and just managed to land her Skittle Star Press - as Shane came to and clearly tried to start rolling out the way - just a second too slow to react. The impact Hardy’s finisher delivered drove the last wind out of Shane Sweeney as she hooked the leg on him and scored the one, the two and the three.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING
In the ring, Aubrey Williams took to the mic to announce the winner.
AUBREY WILLIAMS: Ladies and Gentlemen your winner of this match - Rayven Hardy!
Rayven Hardy celebrated her win with two arms up, very happy with herself. She would then go to offer Shane a handshake but he would slap it away, and pretty aggressively so. She tried to ask him what his problem was but Shane cut her off, telling her outside she caught him, illegally, with an elbow during that penultimate move.
Flabbergasted, Rayven tried to argue against it but her opponent turned his back to her, told the official next time he better spot those kind of incidents - owing it to Boscoe’s age. Rayven explained to the official she never hit him below the belt or the eye, she has no clue what he’s talking about as Shane made his exit and headed backstage.
(Scene End) Winner: Rayven Hardy via Pinfall - Skittle Star Press (Shooting Star Press) Match Time: 14:51
SEGMENT: ‘PLAN A’
INT. GYM - EARLIER IN THE WEEK SHANE SWEENEY came through the curtain and immediately got an arm swung over him by none other than MATT STONE,
MATT STONE: Sweeney, Baby. I saw what happened out there, Rayven Hardy the maniac definitely caught you with a cheap shot.
SHANE SWEENEY: Let’s take that arm off.
MATT STONE: Yep. Sure. But as I was saying. Rayven Hardy just isn’t safe. Two wins now means I could face her as the Tenacity Grand Champion - and what just happened to you could happen to me, an even worse outcome I know. While she also has this plot afoot to keep me from the title - but lucky for you I have a plan.
SHANE SWEENEY: You got my attention for two minutes. Make it quick.
MATT STONE: Quick as the Flash - next show I’m facing the champion, and if Rayven wasn’t on the show that’d be great. Won’t happen. Not with Rina’s boyfriend and his friends working security. But what if you got your rematch, a redo from tonight, and what if she had a match so great, she’s exhausted, she’s also not so quick on her feet and maybe needs to rest up during the main event - see what I’m saying?
SHANE SWEENEY: I do. I’m not a fan of the idea.
MATT STONE: Why the hell not?
SHANE SWEENEY: Cus we ain’t friends.
BEAT.
SHANE SWEENEY: As for Hardy, she couldn’t defeat me. We just saw she - pulled a Matt Stone - to win. I don’t want to face her again. Next show, anybody but Rayven. Maybe that Faiz girl, remind everybody that spotlight belongs to me.
All the lights go off and a single spotlight illuminates Shane for a couple seconds before he walks off. Matt stepped into the light a little surprised by the set up. His head moving back and forth in various directions.
MATT STONE: Did you cue that up? I didn’t know we had spotlights backstage.
Stone’s hand on his hip showed he was a little upset by this.
MATT STONE: Shoot. That would have been nice to know. Okay plan A didn’t work out, onto plan K.

SEGMENT: ‘INSTAR’
EARLIER IN THE WEEK “Diamond Princess” Danielle Page appears filming via Instagram Live.
DANIELLE PAGE: I’ve got to know what kind of ass backwards universe is Tenacity Wrestling living in that someone like Jessica Carter is getting a Grand Championship match tonight? I swear it appears that I arrived here in Miami to save Tenacity Wrestling from itself and I promise all of you that I will by becoming the Grand Champion but obviously that will come in due time.
BEAT
DANIELLE PAGE: Before all that I must start gathering contender points. I am sure…at least I hope that you should know how we on the roster can get said contender points. All I have to do is win and winning is what I will do. Which is good for me but sucks for Faziah Marshall because she drew the short straw and she has to step into the ring with me. Now I know all of you casual fans out there are saying how Faziah isn’t just a bum off the street. She has done a damn thing or two. Faziah has won the HOW Pure Championship, a dominant MWE Cloud Gate Championship reign. Plus on top of all that Faziah is a member of the Queens of Chaos.
Danielle rolls her eyes.
DANIELLE PAGE: Are people actually still impressed by that? I hope not for the sake of those people because the Queenies are so 2022. If you are, you're just enabling people like Faziah. She doesn’t need that kind of false narrative. So Faziah can be as cocky as she wants to be but unlike Faziah I can actually back up my overconfidence. And by it is all said and done tonight, Faziah, I am going to gain my first points when I defeat you. Then you can go back to tweeting about how you are still a champion of a company that has been defunct for almost a year now. Like how sad are you, girl? Not that it matters because by the end of the night you’ll be even sadder and I just hope for the sake of you, that you will realize I am true royalty unlike you and your friends.

'MATCH #2' 'BEST OF BOTH GIRLS’ DANIELLE PAGE Vs FAIZAH MARSHALL
INT: THE VENUE - THE RING
Danielle and Faiz started up with a forearm to the face style grapple with Danielle winning the exchange. Page caught Marshall with a straight kick to the abdomen and a snap sunset flip planted Faiz down on the mat for an early two count. Faiz was then caught in a headscissors with Danielle wrenching the one captured arm. Faiz refused to submit and had the reach to land a couple of slaps, one loud one popping the crowd and forced a break. Both women got up as they thought the same thing, double clothesline. Faizah got up just a microsecond quicker and hit a quick dropkick which she followed up with a scoop slam. Faiz dragged the princess towards the corner where she grinded Danielle’s face against the bottom turnbuckle.
A quick taunt by Faiz to the crowd as she sat atop and looked for a meteora - only for Danielle to get out the ring. A few boos got hurled and Faiz dropped to the apron, running at Page, swung around the ring post and landed a crossbody - NO PAGE Caught her, dropped rib first on a knee and then dropped on the steps. Danielle page showed she was very much a woman who kicked a woman while she was down for good measure before trying to win this one off a count out.
CUT TO: FAIZAH MARSHALL TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
FAIZAH MARSHALL: She really thought she could beat me off a count out a minute into the match? She really thought that?
CUT TO: DANIELLE PAGE TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
DANIELLE PAGE: Disappointing, I think everyone who's anyone in wrestling wanted to see me win it right there.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Faizah got herself back up but Danielle kept control with a spinning heel kick with some extra mustard. Danielle unloaded the trash talk, but Faiz caught her with a straight kick, kip up by Marshall into a leg sweep DDT which Faiz thought she’d win off - only to be surprised when Danielle kicked out. Dani took a second scoop slam and was made to sit up - rebound and dropkick to the diamond princess, but yet again Faiz couldn’t get the three count. What’s the Bae to do but go for the Best Splash Ever, ONLY she hit the knees! Page quickly pulled Faiz into a cradle but Marshall wasn’t done and burst out.
Danielle slapped Faiz on the back, and added a hairpull backbreaker to bring her down. She returned the dropkick with a sliding one of her own, the trash talk before the cover possibly a reason why Faiz was able to kick out mid-two count. Danielle gave Faiz a nasty slap which had 80% of the audience aghast, then the Diamond Princess threw Faiz into the corner. Danielle had to be pushed back by the official to stop the onslaught of kicks. The break, however, let Faiz get an opening. She quickly got to the second rope and jumped off to dropkick Danielle over.
CUT TO: MILLIE SMITH TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
MILLIE SMITH: Go, Faiz!
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Danielle covered up as Faizah delivered lefts and rights, landing some forearm clubs to position Danielle in the middle of the ring. Faiz cut Danielle down to a knee and caught the ropes for some speed and flying forearm! REF SHIELD!
Danielle Page wasted no time in hitting Faiz with a Princess Kick straight into her Diamonds are Forever Neckbreaker. Danielle saw the newcomer official come running down to the ring and counted the fall. One, Two, Three and Danielle had snatched a victory tonight.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING
In the ring, Aubrey Williams took to the mic to announce the winner.
AUBREY WILLIAMS: Ladies and Gentlemen your winner of this match - Danielle Page!
(Scene End) Winner: Danielle Page via Pinfall - Diamonds are Forever (Reverse Neckbreaker) Match Time: 11:32
SEGMENT: INTERVERSUS
INT. THE VENUE - CARMEN’S OFFICE CARMEN ROJA-TORRES is just finishing up with KIDD DUDLEY as SHANE SWEENEY entered the room.
CARMEN ROJA-TORRES: I think that will work. I'll make sure it's all set for the next show.
KIDD DUDLEY: Thanks, Carmen. I'll head out.
Shane Sweeney let Kidd Dudley pass by, closing the door behind him ahead of him approaching Carmen’s desk.
SHANE SWEENEY: Carmen. I’m not gonna waste any of your time. Like I explained to the official out there, Rayven caught me with an elbow and then the result carried out like it did. Had she not took that shot, I wouldn’t be standing in your office right now.
CARMEN ROJA-TORRES: Shane. On matters like these I employ referees to call the match. As far as I’m aware Head Official Boscoe Clark did not witness any below the belt elbowing, so the result is final.
The GM opened her hands while almost shrugging, as she turned her head slightly to her laptop screen and opened up an email.
SHANE SWEENEY: So you’re just going to let her get away with that?
She turned her attention back to him quickly, briefly, and began typing with one hand multi-tasking her reply with this conversation.
CARMEN ROJA-TORRES: I’ll look into scheduling a rematch between you two. However you’ve got another lady to face. Marina Marston - and I’d start focusing on that.
SHANE SWEENEY: Is she going to keep it clean? When I bring it, is she going to resort to some trick, some shenanigans to give her another rung?
Carmen paused, and held the silence for a beat or two. She looked him directly in the eye as she vouched for the talent whom she’d given the night off.
CARMEN ROJA-TORRES: As far as I’ve seen Marina works within the rules. I’m going to assume you won’t be expressing these concerns to her before the match?
Sweeney half listened to her reply, stroking his chin and quickly came to accept the next challenge ahead.
SHANE SWEENEY: Okay - Marina Marston Shane Sweeney, make sure have the fireworks ready. Carmen.
Shane then made his exit as Carmen turned her attention back to the email, downloading it for a preview.

SEGMENT: ‘PLAN K’
INT. GYM - EARLIER IN THE WEEK KIDD DUDLEY exited out of Carmen’s office and immediately got an arm swung over him by none other than MATT STONE,
MATT STONE: Kid Moe! Baby! Looking great in this. You know who else will like, no, love this, Rayven Hardy.
SHANE SWEENEY: Let’s take that arm off.
MATT STONE: I’ve seen her backstage with you, and I get the vibe she’d really like to celebrate with you - especially next show when you and her could become contenders - and maybe more.
KIDD DUDLEY: “More”?
MATT STONE: Yep. If I were in your shoes you should definitely celebrate with her next show, pick up a win, and then take her on a celebratory evening out. Far, far away from the arena. She likes saunas if you check out some of her posts here, maybe have a little spa trip - just make sure nobody locks the door from the outside with a wrench. If you play your cards right her bio may just read: “Wrestler, Actress. Enthusiast of Kidd Dudley” - That’s you, Buddy.
KIDD DUDLEY: “More”?
MATT STONE: Just make sure you take her to one of those spas that’s 5 star. One that you need to drive an hour, hour and a half to get to. Enjoy watching my title match in luxury. One of those spas where they feed you grapes like you’re a roman emperor.
KIDD DUDLEY: And this has nothing to do with what she’s been talking about recently?
MATT STONE: No. I’m just trying to be an awesome wingman. Go there as friends if you’re friendzoning her, celebrate just make sure it’s far far away. I’ll even pay for the uber there.
KIDD DUDLEY: What a nice guy. How can I pass up that gift?
MATT STONE: (CHUCKLING) You shouldn’t. You really shouldn’t.
MATT STONE: Okay. So you do that, I’ll go and search some resorts for you - you know so I know how much the uber is gonna cost me - hopefully it’s not too far of a drive.
KIDD DUDLEY: Or you could spot one of those private cars. Drinks, TV that drops down from the roof, surround sound for music.
MATT STONE: Lucky for you I have a tag team partner who can make that happen. You lucky, lucky guy. So we’re agreed, just to be crystal clear. Next show you and Ray Ray booked in somewhere nice and
KIDD DUDLEY: Far far away from here.
MATT STONE: Bingo. With a private car waiting for you to take both of you to the spa. Just want to make sure we’re dotting the i’s, j’s , crossing the t’s, and underlining the “both of you.”
KIDD DUDLEY: Understood.
MATT STONE: Awesome. Who knows. Maybe this could be the start of the journey to Rayven Hardy becoming Rayven Dudley - I watch too many of those will they won’t they movies. Glad we’ve ironed that out.
KIDD DUDLEY: No creases init.
MATT STONE: Perfect. And really use that British accent. My tag partner says it’s like music to the ears. I’m gonna go head out to watch the match ringside, glad we’ve come to this agreement.
KIDD DUDLEY: Same here.

'MATCH #3' 'LAD LUCHA KENDRICK KROSS Vs NOAH LEIFFSON
INT: THE VENUE - THE RING
The contest begins with Noah landing a straight toss across the ring which pops the crowd but pissed off Kendrick. Kross came running in with a takedown and hammer fists rained down. The former contender backed off but kept Noah down with a running knee lift. Kross applied a headlock but Noah got back up and pushed Kendrick off. Kross hit the ropes and ducked a lariat, then slid under a big boot, but took a back elbow! Kross staggered back into the ropes, and bounced back into a big back body drop. Noah fed off the crowd and proceeded to land a second one. Kendrick was really feeling his back. ONE MORE TIME gets chanted and Noah is crouched ready to oblige. Kendrick goes up but landed on his feet to suck the air out of the crowd. He ducked the Minnesota Monster - sprang off the ropes for a tornado DDT - before taunting the crowd and beating his chest at them.
Kross repeatedly stomped on Noah to keep him down until he was at the corner. Kross proceeded to choke Noah on the middle rope with a shin to the back of the neck and the middle rope pulled hard against his wind pipe. Kross backed off as Noah stayed in the position so Kendrick proceeded to use it to perform a running shin to the side of the head. Kross quickly got in position to pin but got thrown off by the power Noah had behind him.
CUT TO: MARINA MARSTON TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
MARINA MARSTON: Look at the height he got on that. Imagine how high he'd hurl someone of my stature.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Noah wasn't allowed up as Kendrick performed a springboard double foot stomp, forcing Noah outside. Kendrick connected with a running boot to the chest and then looked at hitting a diving clothesline but got caught! Noah rammed Kendrick back first into the ring post and then hurled him over the barricade into the time keeper area.
CUT TO: VICTORIA SALINAS TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
VICTORIA SALINAS: Ohhh I enjoyed that part a lot. A lot. If only Noah had KO’d him and won by count out - but a girl can dream…
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Kendrick got thrown back into the ring and Noah connected with a big man dropkick, leaving Kendrick in the corner. Kendrick got out of dodge, got some momentum behind him and delivered a running uppercut. Noah bounced off the ropes and Kendrick attempted the German suplex but Noah blocked it, headlock takeover. Kross got up and escaped the one handed spinebuster, grabbed Noah by the ponytail and dragged his head down to the mat; earning himself a warning in the process.
Kendrick wasted little time in stomping down on Noah like it was a mugging, before he choked him yet again on the ropes. Noah pushed Kross away but took a hard kick to the ribs. Kross connected with two running knee lifts to Noah in the corner before he dropped Noah with a sling blade - still not able to put away Noah off the move. Kendrick decided to try and put Noah away by submission ankle lock style, only for Noah to roll through and sent Kross into the ropes. Noah pushed himself up to a crouched position - POP UP SAMOAN DROP brings the crowd alive.
CUT TO: SVOTTY LATIMER TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
SCOTTY LATIMER: Flattened Kenny K with that one. That one gave me goosebumps guys.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Noah struggled to hit the Finale Bomb. Kendrick escaped the hold on the lift and struck with another knee lift. He hit the ropes and held them while Noah went for a dropkick. Kendrick bravely stacked Noah up for a two count before he was hurled through the ropes on the kick out. Noah got up before Kendrick could both get up and get back in the ring. Noah’s big foot came down on Kendrick and the nearby fans cheered at Kendrick yelling in pain. Kross was pulled up and hurled across the hypotenuse of the ring, still - Kross got a boot up in the corner. Kross got to the second rope and hit an elbow to the back of the neck. Noah stayed on his feet and Kross got most of his Brainwashed DDT - unable to add the lift due to Noah’s size advantage.
Noah was able to kick out but Kendrick would hit not one but two Tramp Stamp’s to keep Noah down for a three count.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING
In the ring, Aubrey Williams took to the mic to announce the winner.
AUBREY WILLIAMS: Ladies…your winner of this match - Kendrick Kross!
Aubrey quickly made an exit before Kross could do anything, he simply made a title gesture to the crowd and exited the ring before he was tackled on the ramp by an annoyed Faizah Marshall, getting retribution for the attack last show. Kross covered up as Faizah hit punches wherever she could and got in a toss into the ramp guard rail. Security quickly came out to stop Faizah attacking any further as she made her way backstage after hearing the fans along the ramp in the front row chant her nickname.
(Scene End) Winner: Kendrick Kross via Pinfall - Tramp Stamp (Curb Stomp) Match Time: 09:59

SEGMENT: ‘INTERVERSUS’
INT. THE VENUE - BACKSTAGE SHANE SWEENEY came through the curtain and immediately got an arm swung over him by none other than MATT STONE,
JESSICA CARTER: I’m here tonight with my upcoming opponent, Victoria Salinas in an interview that many, most, probably all of wrestling would deem “Conflict of interest” but I agreed to interview everybody on the roster and wrestle everybody on the roster - the overlap? Inevitable. Speaking of inevitable, that’s what some fans are using when they describe me winning title match.
VICTORIA SALINAS: That’s rather interesting, Jess. I might have seen a few of those comments but what those statements read - or should read - is you will inevitably fall to the champion.
JESSICA CARTER: So the interviewer in me has to ask why you think that?
VICTORIA SALINAS: I’ve worked harder to get here, to claim this and defend it. Nobody is taking it from me.
JESSICA CARTER: Mhm - Okay. But the competitor side of me STRONGLY disagrees. I worked hard to get into the position to be ready for this title match. I’ve seen the queue start to grow with Matt Stone, Scotty Latimer in line. Both Rayven Hardy and Kidd Dudley about to join it - there’s a long wait. I respect you, a whole lot, but waiting possibly months to stand back here - to quote a friend - nu uh.
VICTORIA SALINAS: Okay, Jess. I can appreciate that mentality. While you’re worried about being at the back of the line, I’m focused on who’s at the front. Tonight that’s you, then Matt Stone, then Latimer. I WILL be the champion defending and testing you all. Now - do you have another question?
JESSICA CARTER: Actually I do. Following what you just said, testing us all - can I pass the test. Is it possible, is it doable?
Jess then took Victoria’s microphone from her and tossed it over her shoulder.
JESSICA CARTER: It doesn’t matter what you think right now. In that ring, you’ll see.
She turned to the camera to physically tap the camera lens with her finger.
JESSICA CARTER: Everybody’s about to see.

'MATCH #4' 'TITLE DEFENSE DOS’ JESSICA CARTER Vs VICTORIA SALINAS
INT: THE VENUE - THE RING
Before the champion or challenger came down to the ring MATT STONE made his way down to occupy a ring side seat with a tablet littered in Hello Kitty stickers.
First Jessica Carter made her way out to the ring, feeling the pressure as soon as Victoria Salinas made her way to the ring. The title belt was taken by the official and handed off to Aubrey Williams who then rang the bell.
The match started with Jess and Victoria exchanging a handshake and then turned technical. Jess took control with the waistlock but the champ escaped with a roll through into a pinning predicament - Jess kicked out before the two count. Carter took a little more time on this lock up, went for a waistlock but transitioned to a side headlock. Vic shoved her into the ropes and waited for a shoulder check on the rebound but Carter held the ropes.
Both girls locked up again, with Salinas getting Jess into the ropes and forced a break. As soon as Jess was off the ropes Victoria got the waistlock in pushed off the ropes and transitioned into a roll up - transitioned into a would-be elevated Boston crab had Carter not kicked her off. Salinas and Jess both thought clothesline and clobbered the other. They thought alike again, dropkick stalemate, and would you believe it but both girls went for a superkick, catching the other in the jaw.
CUT TO: MARINA MARSTON TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
MARINA MARSTON: Not sure that’s a good idea, Jess. Rayven doesn’t do well with simple requests..
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) It was the champion who got to her feet first and caught Jess with a springboard dropkick to knock her into the corner. Salinas came running in with a big corner clothesline - Bulldog? No Jessica countered with an atomic drop - Backstabber and followed it up with a standing shiranui. Jess thought that would bring her the Grand Championship but Victoria wasn’t down and out yet. The challenger decided to hit another backstabber, rolling senton on the back and then measured the champion for a springboard moonsault - KNEES UP But Jess saw that coming and landed on her feet. She rolled Victoria back onto her feet, kept her stunned with a knee lift with a spinning heel kick in the corner. Salinas fell seated but Jess whipped her to the other side of the ring and catches Vic with the running crossbody! Salinas falls down and Jess goes up top for her finisher!
ONLY Salinas started to get up. Jess changed her footing as the show stealer was not on the cards right now - instead Jess connected with a diving senton on Victoria! Jess rolls through with Salinas’ legs, Alabama Slam by Jess who now goes for her Show Stealer - but nobody’s home as the champion rolls out the way.
CUT TO: MARINA MARSTON TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
CARMEN ROJA-TORRES: I don't usually do these. However, that was a close call. One has to wonder if we would have a new champion if Jessica connected there.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Jess tried to beat the champion up, couldn’t and Salinas gained control with a running knee to Jess’ face, followed up with a neckbreaker, and a top rope moonsault leading to a cover and Jessica throwing the champion off. Jess got put in the corner and Salinas picked up some speed. Champ ricocheted off the ropes for a dropkick to the abdomen, and locked in the Boston Crab with some elevation. Jess looked to tap but stopped herself, fighting on to win the title by dragging both of them to the ropes, grabbing them as soon as she was within reach.
Salinas broke the hold and immediately had her next step in mind. Victoria planted Jess with a DDT, a second DDT to set up the quick spring to the top rope and moonsault on Jess - but the challenger got both knees up. Salinas rolled off clutching her mid-section while Jess rushed to her feet. RUNNING SHINING WIZARD! Jessica goes straight into Veneno! She covers the champion for one, two but Salinas got a foot on the rope. Jess straight up dragged the champion away from the ropes and hooked the leg - one, two and this time Victoria had to power a shoulder up.
CUT TO: SABRINA SMITH TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
SABRINA SMITH: Jess is so game for the title and Victoria won't quit. I love it.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action) Jess looked to the crowd what to do next, and went for a step off the ropes swinging DDT - but the champion came with a counter. As Jess kicked off the ropes Salinas brought Carter down across the knee - immediately transitioning into an elevated boston crab. Jessica struggled in the hold and escaped with a tuck, roll and then an inside cradle which ended in a 2.7 count. Salinas got out and Carter dropkicked the champ into the corner - BACKSTABBER! NO Salinas got her hands behind her on Jess’ knees, and used them to backflip, land on Jess’ shoulders with her knees and secured both legs. All Carter could do was back roll to try put the champ on the mat - but Salinas scouted it. Salinas got up, stepped over Jess and relocked her into the Boston Crab. The challenger didn’t let her get into that elevated position as she quickly got to the ropes.
The champion backed off as Jess clung to the ropes to get back up. She charged at Salinas with a risky knee, the champ side stepped it and dropkicked Jess in the back of the head. Salinas managed to run the ropes twice to pick up some incredible speed and sprung off the second rope - BUSAIKU KNEE! Salinas forced herself, pushed herself to continue to dig deep. Almost running on fumes and the champion struck Jess with a roundhouse into Vanity Breaker
CUT TO: ABBY BLAKE TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
ABBY BLAKE: And that is, as they say, the grand finale. One, Two, Three.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
In the ring, Aubrey Williams took to the mic to announce the winner.
AUBREY WILLIAMS: Ladies and Gentlemen your winner of this match - and Still!! Tenacity Grand Champion: Victoria Saliiiinnaas!
Victoria grabbed her title from the official but clearly took a moment to stand up. Jess had been in a fight and as the adrenaline was wearing off, she was feeling the effects of this match up. She raised the title in the corner, before raising it to all three sides of the ring.
Matt Stone made his way into the ring, now the next man in line for the Grand Championship. The champion was reserved, on-guard as Matt entered but Matt kept the distance and asked Aubrey for the microphone.
MATT STONE: As I predicted, you kept the championship.
CROWD: No you didn’t
MATT STONE: I did, Miami. I did post it to X/Twitter/Whatever but somebody erased the wifi password on this thing and I used up all my data backing up key notes I made to defeating you, Victoria.
MATT STONE: That’s right. Now we’re finally done with this event and we’re moving ahead to Matt’s Night Out where I will be having a grand night out celebrating the new era of Tenacity with me at the top of this company so, Tori Not So Victorious, take plenty of selfies, videos, treasured memories with the grand title - it’s coming to a new home and it is never, ever - and I do mean ever, coming back to you.
VICTORIA SALINAS: I just went through a very game Jessica Carter. You said a whole lot I don’t agree with. Instead of talking this out with you, I’ll see you next time right here and show you why you’re wrong.
(Scene End) Winner: Victoria Salinas via Pinfall - Vanity Breaker (Somersault Reverse DDT) Match Time: 19:22 Title: Tenacity Grand Championship (2nd Title Defense) Title: Title Retained
