‘STATEMENT BY THE PRINCESS ’
INT. GYM - EARLIER IN THE WEEK
“Diamond Princess” Danielle Page is walking into the Tenacity Wrestling Arena. She stops, smiles, and looks around the backstage area.
DANIELLE PAGE:
Bringing my talents down to South Beach will obviously have its perks. Now Tenacity Wrestling has got to be on cloud 9 right now that I have arrived to grace you with my presence. Your welcome Smith family. Now that I am here in Tenacity Wrestling, now what? Hopefully some of you marks should know why I am here besides an excuse to come down to Miami every few weeks. That Grand Championship would look great on me and then I can take Tenacity Wrestling to a whole new level.
Danielle begins walking through the backstage area again.
DANIELLE PAGE:
I am fully aware of who is on the Tenacity Wrestling roster and all of you are wondering how I can be so confident? It is easy. Because I know what I am capable of and what I am willing to do. So when I step into the ring with Scotty Latimier tonight, I will knock down one of the biggest stars if not the biggest star here in Tenacity Wrestling. It is only fitting I will chop down the big redwood in the Tenacity forest. Got that Scotty? While you are merely a star I am the star and I am going to put the Matt Stone, Kendrick Kross, Victoria Salinas, Raion Kido, Rayven Hardy, Faizah Marshalls of the world, I am just a cut above and you will all find that out when I rule over Tenacity Wrestling.

SEGMENT:
‘REMAIN…….CALM’
A deep breath then a slam of a chair is heard as the camera finds Kendrick clearly still not happy.
KENDRICK KROSS:
This isn’t over, not by a long shot. The bitch got lucky. I don’t care if there’s others that are supposedly in line.
Kendrick paces back and forth just as he does his sister, Claire walks into frame putting hands on her brother's chest.
CLAIRE KROSS:
Kendrick, bro, calm yourself down. Like you said, she got lucky. You step in that ring with her again, which we both know she doesn’t want, you’d get the W.
Kendrick clearly is still pissed as he keeps his eyes on Claire though he seems to slowly calm down only to push Claire aside.
KENDRICK KROSS:
You’re right, and believe me this whole thing I’m not about to let slide. What’s pissed me off even more now is that they refused to book me for some reason, not something that they should’ve done. Not at all.
Kendrick’s face gets red as Claire tries to calm him down again but he pushes past her and grabs another chair slamming it against the wall just screaming.
KENDRICK KROSS:
They don’t want to book me? They want to take me off tonight’s show well they just caused themselves problems.
Kendrick smirks at Claire who raises an eyebrow.
CLAIRE KROSS:
Kendrick, what are you talking about? Don’t do anything stupid please.
KENDRICK KROSS:
Don’t worry, you and all the others will see exactly what I’m talking about. Shits about to go down and they’ll be sorry they caused everything.
Kendrick chuckles and winks at the camera as he walks off and Claire runs after him.

'MATCH #1'
'TWO FIGHTING FOR TWO’
DANIELLE PAGE Vs SCOTTY LATIMER
INT: THE VENUE - THE RING
The match up begins with Scotty going for a running school boy pin on Page whom managed to kick out fairly quickly. Danielle went for a dropkick on Latimer but Scott snatched her legs into a quick, neat albeit painful Boston crab hold. Danielle crawled to the ropes to break the hold but rolled out to regroup. Outside she tried to roast Latimer to the crowd and returned back to the ring.
On the lock up Latimer managed to hit a swift uppercut to knock Page into the corner. Nobody puts Danielle in the corner apparently because she came out of it with a loud enziguri.
CUT TO: MATT STONE TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
MATT STONE:
If this were a cartoon - that right there is where you’d see Scotty’s eyes come out of his head and bounce back into his head.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.

Latimer took an axe kick which slowed him down. Danielle was able to her Princess Kick signature move without any defense, leaving Scotty flat out but stirring when Page made her way over. The Diamond Princess rolled Scotty over onto his stomach before landing a knee drop to the lower back. She added a few stomps before her opponent shoved her back. Page came running back, missed a spinning heel kick and Latimer rolled up Danielle for a close two.
The pair burst out the pin and it was Danielle who brought Scotty to the mat with a swinging neckbreaker to set up a Texas Cloverleaf - No Scotty booted her back. Latimer got up in a hurry to hit a defensive lariat to Danielle but the debut star got out the ring. Cat and Mouse around the ring led to Danielle regaining control with a springboard leg drop, before she landed a senton on the back. Danielle took a little pleasure in axe kicking Scotty’s back, landing three and irking the crowd. She threw up an L to the crowd and then showed it to Latimer - her eyes popped wide open when Latimer grabbed her wrist.
CUT TO: MARINA MARSTON & CLEMENTINE SMITH TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
Marina and Clementine both pull an Andy Dwyer surprised reaction to the wrist grab.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.

Latimer took a slap, no two slaps, three slaps! Four slaps to the face but he never let go. Danielle tried to pull free but no dice. Latimer just went straight for his rogue lariat after a well placed headbutt - ONLY Danielle got up the forearms to block - dampening the impact of the move and Latimer knew it when she kicked out on two.
Scotty got her by the hair before Danielle swiped his hand free, reminding him of how expensive how much more they cost than his partner which lead to Scotty connecting with a knee to the gut, then to the ribs before he measured Page for a running mafia kick - only Danielle half-kipped up wrapping her legs around the oncoming Scotty Latimer and applying a reverse full nelson. Latimer didn’t expect it and started to sense himself fading. Latimer managed to find a second level, getting himself to his feet with Danielle still clung to him. The strength factor let him break out and plant Danielle in the middle of the ring with a single underhook spike DDT and a cover. One…Two…KICKOUT
CUT TO: RAYVEN HARDY TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
RAYVEN HARDY:
Okay, Danielle. Okay let’s see what you’ve got left.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.

Danielle avoided a knee incoming to her face, hit back with a Princess Kick and caught Scotty. Danielle caught Latimer with a crucifix pin and she almost had him. The Rogue got his shoulder off and received 5 back elbows as change for that transaction. Danielle began a double arm stretch and appeared to go for a stomp, but Latimer got his hands down. Danielle forcibly pushed but didn't have the strength or weight to break Scotty's stance so she used Scotty to leap up, and attempt a senton but Latimer caught his opponent and dead lifted her up for a buckle bomb! Danielle absolutely collapsed in the corner.
Latimer connected with a big back elbow, pulling Danielle to the center of the ring for a ripcord lariat but Danielle dropped to her knees and slipped between Latimer's legs. She got up lightning quick as Scotty was still bent forward allowing the Diamond Princess to roll over Latimer's back and spike DDT him. She hooked the leg there and thought she'd got the win when Latimer kicked out yet again.
The Official is down and within ten seconds Kendrick Kross slid into the ring to take Scotty Latimer’s right wheel out. Kross got out the ring and told Scotty he’s gonna be on the injured list while grabbing a steel chair. Latimer had no defense but luckily he didn't need it. Snatching the chair from him is Faizah Marshall! The Queen of Chaos took the chair from Kendrick, delivered the chair to the abdomen and guarded the match from him. Danielle freaked out as Kendrick didn't leave Latimer down and out for her, shouting at Faizah through the ropes allowing Scotty to land a roll up transitioned into an STO and capped off with his Rogue Lariat!
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING
In the ring, Aubrey Williams took to the mic to announce the winner.
AUBREY WILLIAMS:
Ladies and Gentlemen your winner of this match - Scotty Latimer!
Scotty celebrated his win, eyeballed Kendrick and flashed three fingers to him. Kendrick sulked backstage as Faizah allowed Latimer to have his moment.

‘SCHEDULED DEFENSES’
INT. THE VENUE - GM’S OFFICE
CARMEN ROJA-TORRES walked into her office and found someone else was here. Grand Champion VICTORIA SALINAS.
CARMEN ROJA-TORRES:
Champ. Good to see you. What brings you to my little abode?
Victoria stepped right up to the desk and set her title down on a vacant spot.
VICTORIA SALINAS:
I’m just here to keep an eye on Jessica and Matt - as well as Scott and the rest of the roster. I plan on keeping this title for a good while. So, even though you gave me the night off, I’m here.
CARMEN ROJA-TORRES:
I’ve given you and Kendrick a night off to recover and rest. You had a big match up, quite a title defense.
Carmen stood up from her desk and carried on with her statement, pressing a key on her laptop to bring up 3 future shows featuring three upcoming challengers.
CARMEN ROJA-TORRES:
Speaking of, I have two contenders but Jessica qualified first so you’ll be facing Jessica at our next event Millania Smith is working on promotional images for. Lucha in the Fast Lane, whoever is our champion walking out is going to have to defend the title at Stone’s Night Out.
She knew it was settled yet the champion didn’t disguise the groan over a Matt match at a Matt show.
CUT TO: MATT STONE TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
MATT STONE: (SHOUTING WITH JOY)
Oh this makes me so happy. I might actually send out some Save the Dates.
CUT TO: RAYVEN HARDY TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
Rayven Hardy has the same mock-up in her hand and an upside down smile on her face seeing it.
RAYVEN HARDY:
Hand me a sharpie.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - GM OFFICE.
CARMEN ROJA-TORRES: (CONT’D)
And whoever may be the champion then defends against Scotty Latimer at The Ropes of Wrath.
CUT TO: SCOTTY LATIMER TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
SCOTTY LATIMER:
It’s a bit of a wait - BUT I’m in the line. If it’s Matt Stone - maybe we can add an extreme rules stipulation to it.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - GM OFFICE.
VICTORIA SALINAS:
Sounds like I've got a busy schedule ahead of me.
CARMEN ROJA-TORRES:
I agree - assuming you do defend it successfully each time. I have to remain impartial..
VICTORIA SALINAS: (WHILE PICKING UP THE TITLE)
I get it - still - I’VE got the busy schedule.
Victoria exits the GM’s office.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - HALLWAY
Just outside the office Victoria comes face to face with JESSICA CARTER who’s just arriving and offered the champion a friendly hello. The champion also noticed MATT STONE asking the teamster for the WIFI password so he could send his save the dates out. SCOTTY LATIMER exited the changing room which allowed KIDD DUDLEY to go in to get changed for his upcoming match. Salinas also noticed newcomer DANIELLE PAGE demanding a meeting with Carmen while FAIZAH MARSHALL walked right up to the champion and commented:
FAIZAH MARSHALL:

CUT TO: VICTORIA SALINAS TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
VICTORIA SALINAS:
I’m surrounded.

'MATCH #2'
'KIDD VS KID(O)’
KIDD DUDLEY Vs RAION KIDO
INT: THE VENUE - THE RING
Starting the match off is a technical back and forth, isolating limbs and excellent escapes. This slow exchange kept the fans popping at various escapes, and applauding the technical essence on display. Raion Kido changed things up with a chop to Kidd Dudley who did not want another; The Ring Dragon caught it and brought Kido down to the mat for an arm submission only for Kido to snatch the ropes. Kido applauded Kidd Dudley for breaking on one and the crowd responded with One as Dudley reminded the crowd.
Kidd was then able to wrestle his way into a suplex - but Kido landed on his feet behind Dudley for a neckbreaker. This reversal firmly had Raion in the driving seat of the match up. Kido was able to stun Kidd with a leg drop, work in a hip toss, and connect with a bridging northern lights suplex for a two count.
CUT TO: RAYVEN HARDY TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
RAYVEN HARDY:
As a fellow underdog - I’m leaning towards Kidd winning.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.

Kido lost control of the match up when he went for another hip toss, Kidd stuck the landing and struck with a strong headbutt to the chest - then pulled Kido into a back suplex. Raion then found himself locked in a Mighty Morphin’ Armbar. Kido initially blocked it but Kidd was able to break Raion’s fingers apart. The impact of the move was written all over Kido’s face, He didn’t want to tap out and fought to get his body to the ropes. Dudley tried to wrench it harder but Raion Kido lands a hand on the ropes so Dudley broke the hold immediately on one.
Kido caught no break as Dudley caught him with a running knee to the back, pushed Kido into the ring ropes and Samaon dropped him right in the ring. Kido was winded and took a wing stunner, immediately transitioned into a mat based chicken wing. Raion looked like he couldn’t move - however the Knight wowed the crowd by standing up. His opponent’s positioning during the submission left him on Kido’s shoulders. It looked like Kido would go for something big but Dudley elbowed his way out! Kido struck with a single knee facebuster and strung it into a sidewalk slam with some altitude.
CUT TO: MATT STONE TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
MATT STONE:
Show Off. What he should have done there is-

Kidd Dudley pondered what to try next while Kido reeled from the impact. Dudley wrapped Kido’s arm around his leg and rolled into a cradle pinning attempt which got him a two count. With Kido kicking out, Dudley went straight back into the armbar. Kido was being worn down and he was now biting his knuckle but still refusing to give up. Kido knew he couldn’t get to the ropes. Instead, the Japanese born Tenacity star pinned Kido’s shoulders to the mat, forcing Kido to break the hold to break out.
(REACTION)
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.
(Back to the Action)
Kido connected with several chops, each harder than the last but it was with his less-dominant hand. Kidd was able to pierce through with a knee lift - snap suplex into a rolling snapmare ending with a kick to the head. Kido kicked out on one before fighting off Dudley from a submission hold. The clutch ended with Kido smacking KIdd’s hands, back elbow and a springboard bulldog set up Atomic Thunder
CUT TO: JESSICA CARTER TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
JESSICA CARTER:
Ah, I thought he had him there. Can’t count out this Kidd Dudley or Raion Kido.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.

Kido was now the one pondering what to do - and quickly decided on the Lightning Bolt. He got some momentum behind him as Kidd got up shaking off the cobwebs. Kido punched with the dominant (and worked upon arm), which saw Dudley block with a double knee armbreaker! Kidd Dudley tied it straight into the McBain Buster and locked it in the Slytherin Clutch! The worked over arm and the brainbuster and now this left Kido with one choice - fight another day as he begrudgingly tapped out.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING
In the ring, Aubrey Williams took to the mic to announce the winner.
AUBREY WILLIAMS:
Ladies and Gentlemen your winner of this match - Kidd Dudley!
Kidd got himself to a vertical base, giving the crowd a chest tap to show his respect and gratitude, then letting the title chase get to him a little bit as he put the one finger up to say he had one more to go.

DANIELLE PAGE, still sour by what happened, found herself the little nook MILLIE SMITH used to privately work on Tenacity content. Page being Page - the Diamond Princess couldn’t help herself but walk over and see Millie putting Salinas center stage.
DANIELLE PAGE:
Uh - No.Mr. - oh you’re a girl - Miss - doesn’t matter what your name is - we’ve had enough of this girl put my render up instead. I’m sure you’ve heard I spoke with Carmen Roja-Torres. I’m sure you’ve heard I demanded a match against that runt who spoiled the show. I’m sure you’ve heard I got that match so we need that center stage and move or delete her. You need me to do it for you?
Millie’s tablet is snatched away from her by Danielle and her work was erased by Danielle deleting every trace of not her. Millie attempted to grab her tablet back but Danielle held it out of reach - for Millie that is. The tablet is snatched from her and it’s revealed FAIZAH MARSHALL has snatched it.
DANIELLE PAGE:
You!
CUT TO: DANIELLE PAGE TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
DANIELLE PAGE:
All I’m trying to do is make the money fly into this promotions account. She wants to sabotage it.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING
FAIZAH MARSHALL:
Name on this says Property of Millie Smith. I know her. She doesn’t dress like this. She doesn’t shout. She’s much prettier. Point is you ain’t Millie Smith - so don’t touch.
Faizah handed across the tablet back to Millie and made a gesture for Millie to find somewhere else to work.
DANIELLE PAGE: (MOCKING)
‘Don’t Touch’, ‘Don’t Touch’
(BEAT)
DANIELLE PAGE:
Act like some art museum security why don’t you - ACTUALLY - you may need it when I beat you so badly whoever hired you will realize the mistake they made, and terminate your deal. Now take a step back.
FAIZAH MARSHALL:
I see the lips moving but I just can’t let anything you just said in. Here’s the headline - Tenacity hired some Diamond Princess and a Queen of Chaos - Queen beats Princess. Don’t believe me? I’ll educate you…next show.
Faiz took that step back as requested - making it as sarcastic as possible before she headed off to find her friend and left Danielle Page alone who stared daggers at Faiz - that is until she realized Matt Stone had come up beside her. Annoyed she just pushed him out of her way.
DANIELLE PAGE:
Not now, Matty!
The shove caused Matt Stone to inadvertently cause him to knock HONEY SMITH before she could take a bite out of the muffin DANE MITCHELL had baked for her. The sight of the cupcake on the floor leaves Honey still, shocked, quiet. Too quiet for Matt Stone who takes a step back and then cleared the area before he or anyone would find out how Honey would react.
CUT TO: DANE MITCHELL TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
DANE MITCHELL:
What do I think would have happened? You know that trope where a big scary person approaches the scared, shaking and deeply apologetic person who didn’t mean it but it doesn’t matter - like Spike the Dog and Tom the Cat. Honey with more rage than 20 Thanoses..Thanosi? Thanoses

‘AMIGAS - NO’
INT. THE VENUE - HALLWAY
RAYVEN HARDY can be seen waiting in the hallway before KIDD DUDLEY comes through the back post match. Hardy greeted him with a fast clap.
RAYVEN HARDY:
Great match out there! One more now and you’re in title contention…feel so far behind you now - maybe not after my match - still - congratulations, KD.
Hardy gave him a little applause again, while Kidd grabbed a towel from the pile behind her.
KIDD DUDLEY:
Thanks. Yeah two feels good, one more to go like you said..
The curious Miracle caught up with him and asked.
RAYVEN HARDY:
Who’d you think you’ll be facing for the title? Victoria, Jessica, Scotty?
KIDD DUDLEY:
Think you left out Matt Stone.
Kidd mentioned which Rayven briefly paused on.
RAYVEN HARDY: (CHUCKLING)
No - No I didn’t. So who did you pick?
She caught up with him
KIDD DUDLEY:
I’m not really sure. Brain’s a little scrambled from the match..
RAYVEN HARDY:
Right. Right! Sorry, you just had your match. Ice pack?
The pair slowly bring MARINA MARSTON into the frame as she’s getting warmed up for her upcoming match.
MARINA MARSTON:
Hey, KD. Nice work out there, I won’t let you get too far ahead, time to bring home a ‘W’.
RAYVEN HARDY:
I’m sure you will. I doubt we’ll see Matt getting any w’-
Marina cut Rayven off with a hand up and acted as though she was pushing the words aside as they came from Hardy.
MARINA MARSTON:
Yeah. Listen, Rayven. I heard what you had to say last week. How do I put this nicely..
MARINA MARSTON:
Okay. So you remember Kidd was facing Matt Stone when you debuted, you - erm - you kinda screwed Kidd over. Tonight he may have got himself a title shot if you hadn’t got involved in his debut. So I’m just politely asking you to stay out of my match tonight.
Rayven reacted astonished, confused, and a little offended - while Kidd saw these two were stepping up and ducked out.
RAYVEN HARDY:
I didn’t say I was going to be involved in the match tonight. I did say Matt’s championship chase,
Rayven tapped her right ear twice with her finger, encouraging Marina to listen/pay attention.
MARINA MARSTON:
As far as I’m concerned the title hunt is from last week til that Stone’s Night Out. So, again Miracle, stay out of my match.
RAYVEN HARDY:
I’m not sure I like that tone.
MARINA MARSTON:
You don’t have to like it, just as long as we’re clear. Stay out of my match.
Marina tightened her ponytail and headed toward the ring.
'MATCH #3'
'STONE VS MARSTON(E)’
MARINA MARSTON Vs MATT STONE
INT: THE VENUE - THE RING
Marina waited for Matt Stone to appear, and to everyone’s surprise Matt Stone descended from the rafters. Matt proceeded to state he’d been up in the rafters all evening to avoid Rayven Hardy who he dubbed not the Miracle but Tenacity’s Littlest Hit Girl. He was about to say how Marina is not (something) but Maston knocked him to the mat and ‘Marstomped him into a pinning predicament but only got two.
Stone got himself back up and decided to test the strength of Marina - psych - he went for a headlock takeover, letting Marina out once she got a headscissors on. Marina got up quicker and a dropkick had Matt flat on his back, with Marina heading out the apron for a slingshot senton, back to back landing, and Marina ran the ropes yet again. Marston thought Dropkick, Matt Stone thought catch and catapult; sending Marina straight into the corner. Marina landed on the second rope and went for a springboard back elbow but Stone turned it into a back suplex.
CUT TO: MATT STONE TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
MATT STONE:
Welcome to the Ouch Province, Population Marina ‘Marstone’.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.

Stone rolled Marina towards the ropes where he put the young woman onto the ropes for a rope hung neckbreaker; a move he used to send a message to Hardy watching. Marina got off the mat with a hand feeling the back of her neck. Stone slipped behind for a Stone Cutter (inverted headlock backbreaker) on Marina. He thought this might put her away but Marina made him realize otherwise. On her knees she exchanged punches and forearms with Stone. Stone ended it with a gut kick, dragged Marina onto her feet and suplex - No! Marina landed behind Matt; shoving the Canadian into the top turnbuckle. Marina lept up, twisted around and pulled Matt for a seated pin for two! Matt Stone sat up and pinned Marina! One - Two - Stone grabbed the rope for leverage but the official caught it!
While Stone was getting told off and Stone explaining he was off balance, Marina got herself up and spun Matt around, slap to the chest, forearm to the head, foot stomp into a DDT, then ended the combo with a standing moonsault for a one, two, but Stone powered out on the three.
CUT TO: CLEMENTIME SMITH TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
CLEMENTINE SMITH:
Nearly, Marina. She almost had him.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.

The qualified contender took a straight shining wizard to put him on his back and Marina looked to hit a top rope moonsault. She took a little too much time to get up there and Matt Stone dragged her off the ropes for a running powerbo-NO MARINA Frees herself! Jumping Neckbre- NO! Stone Cutter! Marina rolled to the ring ropes really holding her back and Stone sensed the end. Matt looked ready to hit the C-c-c-combobreaker when suddenly RAYVEN HARDY’s music began playing. Rayven came out dressed to compete and stood at the stage with her chair, shouting at Matt she’ll be right here when he makes his way backstage. Matt called for the ringside security to do their job. He wanted Rayven removed from the premises, but it allowed Marina to recover. Matt turns to Marina and gets struck by her Jawbreaker! One - Two - Three and the official calls time on this one!
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING
In the ring, Aubrey Williams took to the mic to announce the winner.
AUBREY WILLIAMS:

Marina beamed with a smile, still holding her back. The smile was quickly washed off when she saw Rayven Hardy on the stage and started to put two and two together. Matt didn’t dare go up the ramp, but Marina sure as hell did. Like a woman who’d been sold a large when she wanted a medium, she stormed up to Hardy and reprimanded her. Rayven kept quiet until Marina’s finger started being wagged at her. Hardy reminded Marina this was between her and Matt Stone and to enjoy her win. Before Marina could string together a reply, Stone came along and shoved Rayven into Marina as both women fell. Stone took the chair and absconded backstage - quickly followed by Rayven Hardy. The crowd are murmuring before a loud chair shot is heard with the crowd wondering what happened.

‘THE HIT REVEALED’
INT. THE VENUE - HALLWAY
Right near the curtain we find a crowd of backstage staff circling someone. The cameraman filming struggled to get through until KIDD DUDLEY gave him some space. On the floor is JESSICA CARTER holding her shoulder which is red and already showing a bruise. RAYVEN HARDY came down the hallway, a little blood down her nose where she possibly caught a punch from Matt Stone who is nowhere to be found.
RAYVEN HARDY:
I’m sorry, Jess. I didn’t mean you to get hit.
VICTORIA SALINAS:
You hit your opponent right before your match?.
RAYVEN HARDY:
What?! No, Matt took the chair. He tried to hit me with it. I got out the way just as Jess came around the corner.
Jessica Carter started to get up and the room was full of concerned words which ended up as just noise. Victoria aided her upcoming opponent as a crutch, but Carter let her be
VICTORIA SALINAS:
Whoa, Jess. Let’s get that looked at.
JESSICA CARTER:
I’m good. I’m good. Honestly, I’m good. Rayven. Get down there.
RAYVEN HARDY:
Okay. You sure you’re okay?
JESSICA CARTER:
Yeah. Thanks, Vic.

'HARD SHOULDER’
JESSICA CARTER Vs RAYVEN HARDY
INT: THE VENUE - THE RING
Rayven made her way out to the ring as she waited for Jessica. Jess made her way out not performing her usual entrance and favoring her left shoulder. As the bell rang, Rayven locked up with Jess and showed some sympathy by going for Jess’ right arm for the arm wrench, the right elbow as she pushed while pulling the wrist back. Jessica managed to get a nifty counter to Rayven’s running crossbody - got both knees up and the pair spun 360 before Rayven landed on Jess’ knees. Carter connected with a knee drop to Rayven’s abdomen and then stepped off the second rope for a belly to back moonsault. Hardy was able to kick out but Jess went straight for the leg lock.
Hardy escaped the hold with three boots, two to the chest and one to Jess’ - again - right shoulder. Rayven charged at Jess but got lifted over to the ring apron. Hardy went for a right hand, blocked, and Carter pulled it down on the ropes, causing Hardy to fly off the apron and tumble to the floor outside. Jess thought about going for a suicide dive but stopped mid-way as she didn’t want to hurt her shoulder. Instead Jess called for Rayven to get back in the ring.
CUT TO: MARINA MARSTON TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
MARINA MARSTON:
Not sure that’s a good idea, Jess. Rayven doesn’t do well with simple requests.
CUT TO: VICTORIA SALINAS TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
VICTORIA SALINAS:
Smart. She’s clearly got our match in mind and doesn’t want to be fighting at anything less than 100%.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.

Inside the ring Jess performed an arm drag to Rayven, then a second to disorientate the Hardy Miracle. A dropkick put Hardy in the corner where Jess connected with some further kicks. Hardy got sat on the top rope, legs thrown outside so Jess could climb up. It was here where a superplex was expected but some footing got lost - sending Rayven to the outside and Jess landing in the ring with her left shoulder badly ricocheting on the ropes. Rayven was down to a count of eight before she got back in, and Jessica was able to stay in control. Back body drop to Hardy left Ray holding her back and Jess her shoulder. A spinning heel kick looked like she was going to set up a backstabber, but Rayven grabbed Jess’s left arm and threw her over onto her back - or intended to but Jess landed square on the shoulder.
A remorseful Hardy decided to go for Jess’ legs, wrapping them up in a rarely performed figure four leglock. She locked it in tight and Jess was immediately writing in pain and trying to see which ropes were closer. She tried to drag herself to the ropes but decided to shift the Miracle over and reverse the hold. Hardy, luckily, was fairly close to the ropes and managed to grab hold of the bottom rope forcing Jess to break the hold.
CUT TO: FAIZAH MARSHALL TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
FAIZAH MARSHALL:

Jess missed the spinning heel kick and Rayven ran Jess chest first into the top turnbuckle before sending Jess to the middle of the ring via Air-German Suplex. The landing kept Jess down and allowed Rayven to spike hurricanrana for a cover. One - Two - Jessica managed to kick out. Rayven tried to lock in a sleeper hold but Jess slipped out - overhead kick? No Hardy caught it, sat on Jess’s shoulders for a pin and Jess burst out the pin at 2.9. Hardy threw caution to the wind and hit a running rolling senton to take Jess down, again hooking the leg but Jess rolled threw to try pin Hardy - lost her as Hardy rolled back onto her feet - running big boot - Missed! Jess with the school girl roll up - using the left arm so Hardy rolled through again and Hardy connected with a jumping double foot stomp to the abdomen, stalking Jess for a wheelbarrow lift, bounced Carter off the ropes and performed a sit out facebuster. Hardy rolled Jess over and took a moment to see where she’d be sitting - on the right shoulder but Jessica Carter still kicked out.
CUT TO: MARINA MARSTON TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
CREW MEMBER:
It seems she’s trying to avoid that shoulder..
MARINA MARSTON:
I suppose. Lot of people would target it - maybe she’s feeling guilty.
CUT TO: SCOTTY LATIMER TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
SCOTTY LATIMER:
Guys, Girls, kicking out with a less than 100% shoulder is actually harder.
CUT TO: THE VENUE - THE RING.

Hardy decided to try to finish it with a springboard kick, measuring Jess who was feeling her left shoulder. Hardy lept and ASS KISSER! Jess with an impressive counter which left Hardy on the middle rope. Jess quickly lept over the top rope for a leg drop guillotine and felt she could put away Ray with her Show Stealer - ONLY Rayven moved out the way. Jess cried out in pain on the landing and Rayven Hardy added to the pain with a springboard boot to the back of the left arm. Jess felt immobilized as Rayven Hardy quickly sprang to the top rope, turned and flew off to hit the Skittle Star Press (Shooting Star Press) on Jessica Carter.
CUT TO: MARINA MARSTON TALKING HEAD - BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW ROOM.
MARINA MARSTON:
I thought she was avoiding the injury…

In the ring, Aubrey Williams took to the mic to announce the winner.
AUBREY WILLIAMS:
Ladies and Gentlemen your winner of this match - Rayven Hardy!
Rayven celebrates with the crowd, offering her wrist bands to two fans in the front row as keepsakes of her first victory in Tenacity. She returned to the ring where she helped Jess back up. Carter appreciated it and raised Rayven’s left arm while referee Boscoe raised Rayven’s right arm.
